Hodges took over alot of the team huddles during the season. I always notice Grant praising him, I think he was setting up to replace him because knew he was going somewhere. I hope the team is still strong and I will be there for the games. I think we will be able to compete in the league. FAU got everyone back and they were in the final four, we played them tough in both games. Perry is hard to replace but maybe the scoring will spread out among different players who can take up some of the slack. I dont know if we can win the division but I dont think we be a bottom dweller.

I was reading the top paid qb is getting 3.2 million. College Football is dead. Maybe the NCAA separates because most schools cant compete with kinda of money. Semi pro football at the power conferences.

if you do take HS players you are just training for the big school to buy. Maybe the team that buys the players from another team should have to pay a finders fee.

SMU is taking a gamble of not taking any money from the ACC for 9 years. I dont think the realignment of college football is done. If FSU and Clemson leave for a new league the ACC will lose in place in the world of college sports. SMU may not be invited to the magic land of the major conferences but maybe they will. I hope we are done playing them after this year. They are like that annoying brother in law you cant stand that shows up for Thanksgiving every year.

Well I am done for this year football season, won't be back for a game. Always hope next year will be better but it does not get much worse than this. The first game is so important to attendance for the season and we like to lay a goose egg. Looking around the college score boards we are one of the few teams that got blown out. SL left the cupboard bare but we did little to restock it. We can take freshman all day long and if they work out they are bought by Power school with no real risk. I think we have to go the portal route, I was looking at the players not dress for the game and I hoping I would see some size. If this season continues this way I will buy GA tickets next year to games I want to go to. QB coach tell the QBS not to stare down the receivers.

I remember the buying A1A album from a record store in El Paso. It was a small record store and the owner was running the store. IT was cool place to browse around for albums. I have listen to a lot of JB over the years. RIP JB you helped me through some rough periods.

the only positive thing I really saw was our receivers seem to have very good hands. This three man front is not helping one of best weapons, Richards, he was being double teamed. It will be a long season for sure. We failed in all three phases of the game. The punting game not good. We have good running backs but they dont get a great amount of running time. When the first play of the game was up the middle I did not get a good feeling. WE cant compete against teams who pay their players. Sooner or later there will be two leagues. The semi pro league and the teams that are in the poor house and cant buy players. I use to love college sports but it just becoming professional sports without revenue sharing or luxury taxes.

I will show up to one more game this season and it is like this one and will be done for the season. That game was four hours without stoping the clock for first downs. They are cutting the playing time in favor of Starbuck commercials. I am almost for forfeiting the rest of the games so we can practice for next years opener. BTW please never ever schedule SMUT in football again. They are smarter than we are. They love to pound use in football but disappear when Basketball season starts.
