If we had a bad defense it would be an improvement to what we are putting on the field. I think a lot has to do with coaching and the fact SL left the cupboard bare for Morris. If Morris wants to be here for awhile he may want to replace that DC sooner rather then later. If not for UNT then for his family. Two more thoughts- would someone tell the game show host on the field that it is not necessary to yell into the microphone. The DJ volume could we taken down a couple of decibels. That want the crowd to be loud but you couldn't hear over the DJ music. I know it is for the children but man you cant talk to the guy next to you during the game. Sad I now go to the games excepting to lose. Makes it easier to be a fan. Yeah on the uniforms if I didn't know it was us and randomly turn on the TV I would not know what teams was playing. Maybe that is the point.

start by firing the current DC, I know you said we cannot do that. change to a four man line again. It makes Richards to much more effect. He is one of the play makers on defense and in the three man line up he is double teamed.

why is so hard for coach to think offense and defense can be good at the same time. I am not sure if the rule changes on tackling is hurting the defenses or what. There are a lot of high scoring games these days. Smu is going to put a 100 on us, because that who they are.

I guess score is not kept in these games?

If our dc finishes the bottom 25% in defense in the country he needs to be fired. If he finishes last in the AAC he needs to fired. I hope at least put the DC on a PIP (performance improvement plan). You could not asked more of the offense this week. The defense has cost us at least two games I two weeks.

Traylor would be wise to look for a better coaching position. This is setting up to be like SL for them. When SL lost fine and didn't take the KSU job it didn't turn out well. I would have to think Harris is out of playing time this year. UTSA is not winning without Harris. He is not getting new stadium. He better sign the big contract now.

I hope we never play smut again. They do nothing for our attendance (visitors) and help their attendance. If SMUT and UTSA are playing I will be a UTSA for part of Saturday.

I think Nil is having a negative on students who are not in athletics. I mean you are struggling to get through school and athlete drives by in new pickup I think most students would resent that. Well maybe not Texas or A&M

I thought the same think about Hamlet when is finished. Then came Perry and I hope we can fill his spot again. Perry is a great shooter and a standout players. Big shoes feel but I think Hodges and company might surprise a lot of teams.

I was thinking about the temple game and their second string qb. The guy was not a passer at all. I was thinking we might see the third string qb. I guess that guy cant run or pass.

I would have thought Temple would have been our homecoming game this year.

Cant predict the score but I can predict we still haven't figured out how to stop the WR bubble screen. Every team we have played has used it and we have not found a way to stop it.

I think we lose this game not sure by how much. We have become the "team you should " beat. As long as we have the current DC we have a great chance of losing games.

And at this rate we never will, the playing field has become so tilted. What made college football great in the past there was a semi level playing field. I mean the players that we might get can get a free car going there or play for free for us. If all the big boys do this and I am sure they are 85 scholarship players each will not be alot left over plus they will taking the good players from the smaller conference schools. The talent gap will grow bigger. I dont know why the SEC,Big 10, and Big 12 just become the minor leagues for the NFL. The players wont have to go to class and can just be paid to play for four year. Most take their classes on line now and never step foot on campus. I sure someone in the Athletic Department is taking the on line classes for them. It is not about the student athlete it about big tv contracts and winning. Maybe the big schools should pay the the lower conference teams money for each player they take through the portal.

well if Morris doesn't make a change at DC at the end of the year (doubt he does before the end of the year) then he going to die on that hill. They both maybe out of job if they dont improve the defense and learn to adjust at half time. We have a failure to adapt to what is going on the field. SL had the same problem. Isn't the air raid offense like 25 years old now?

I dont care about the rankings but there is one team on the schedule I hope we beat twice and dont take off the gas.

no way this team makes a bowl. our defense is beyond terrible with the three man set up. You would think the DC whose job depends on his defense performance would adjust. Like SL he seems to be stubborn. Morris may have to demote him before the season is over. I would like to say no way he is back next year. BTW anyone have Bennett's phone number. Even last year defense looks better than this years defense.
