I just dont know what to think about our defense yet. I think cal runs the option and a three man line, I am not sure how it will go. The heat could be the factor. I guess I am gun shy after the last few seasons. I am going with Cal ( I have to help the team). cal by 7

with the heat I bet we see alot of the ors. I hope we are at least two deep or three, RB, Receivers no worries, ol. dl lb are all worries.The field temp will have to be close to 110 and it will suck the energy out of you. I think Cal will think they walked into a sauna.

I have no idea why she has a job. She is terrible at her job and CUSA hangs on to her. I was always amazed the CUSA looked to her for leadership. Maybe no one else wants the job?

they have gone to an electronic version for tickets and parking passes. I dont like it so I go down to the ticket office and have them print the tickets for me. I dont know how many times I sat behind people with the electronic parking passes trying to get in because the reader would not work. I remember one game last year they gave up and let you in.

The stats for Aune look really good until you are at the game and see how many third downs we lost to balls thrown at the feet of the receivers or over their heads. Stats dont always tell the whole story. UAB head coach has a Super Bowl ring and Romo not so much but who had the better stats? I not exactly sure of his wins or lost but it is about 500 at best at starting qb for UNT. I will give him a little room because we had no defense the last couple of years. His day has past and as we look to the future I hope we have our next Mason Fine in the qb now. Time will tell.

if he gets down to 98 for the game I may need to bring a jacket.

Hope he does great for us, my only concern both Earle and Ruder could not take the starting some from Aune last year. Aune was not a good qb.

Denton is closed to new residence, we are all filled up and dont have the roads for anymore. Allen, Frisco and McKinney are very nice areas. But if want to enjoy the hill country and people lacking homes (Austin way of talking) go to Austin.

The question is if Traylor takes Harris to A&M for his final two years of eligibility 😉. Shouldn't we be calling him Dr Harris by now?

if it is 105 we will have 10k in the stadium and he student side will be empty. The students will seek shade on the opposite side of the stadium so it will be not a good look.

Looking back I think it was good to move on from SL. I am not sure about Morris yet. CUSA is one of the weakest conference in the country (not just this year) and we could not win a championship. Best of luck to SL at OU. This year will be interesting for sure. I am worried about the defense again, with a three man front you have strong lb play. Seems to be a big hole for us.

He is just starting out, I sure he will rise through the ranks. It got to tough being an asst coach with all the moves you have to make to get ahead.

Why I dont like SMU. One the billboards they place in Denton and the precious visitors to our forum. Two, I was at the SMU game here at DATCU stadium. This SMU guy bought a seat on the home side 40 yard line right in front of me. They were throwing out t-shirts and he made an effort to catch one. He caught it and instead of giving to one the kids sitting in the area he decides he will throw back on the field. Who does that?

I honestly dont know what to expect in this game. I dont know much about them or even us.

Stanford will go as soon as someone calls them. They are really the biggest name the pac 10 has now that everyone else has left. OSU, WSU Stanford, smut, Tulane, Tulsa, rice. It will be a smart conference but I doubt they get a big contract with that lineup of teams. Even if they pick SDSU, AFA , CSU those are not big names. I guess the MWC and AAC will have to merge or one goes away in the favor of another. The AAC does not pick up any big names also. I rather play Texas State than SMUT. Texas State would bring fans to the game here. I hope for the best but expect the worse. Been a UNT fan a long time.
