What intrigues the local MGN? I personally look forward to the Deloach factor, and how he gets all these new bodies to play as one unit. Look forward to all his schemes and how he plans on using (if any) incoming freshman and existing personnel. What position battles do you expect going down to the wire? The obvious position is the DE position. But I believe the entire secondary is wide open, except for maybe Antoine Bush. The RB position with the addition of Dunbar should be interesting. Can he take the college pounding and can he pass block? Moseley has to be the favorite going in. Safe positions on offense are Casey, Dibrell, Stickler, Vizza and Drake. (to at least start the season) But you never know, starting in September doesn't mean much in a rebuilding program. Roberson, Rucker and Fentriss should be a great competition along with BJ Lewis. Most likely freshman to see action, DaWaylon Cook, Lance Dunbar, Darien Williams and Forrest Rucker. Look forward to your takes.

Royce is a nice player but the North WR group will handle the south secondary, imo. Look for Seth Gardner #86 to hook up with Riley.

Expect Riley to have a huge game. He will make a ton of plays with his scrambling ability and lack of quality secondary for the South. I expect him to be the poster child for the game as he was interviewed last night on live TV at the Basketball all star game. Good exposure for UNT football and Todd Dodge.

Mo, Thanks for the update down from SA. How did Dodge "play out" the questions of Riley? Being in San Antonio, and having fans knowing Vizza down there, just curious if he gave the typical media answer or if he gave Gio the support.

Glad to hear his arm and shoulder are 100% and based on his quote, "my arm has more velocity than ever before." That way he can be the man this season and their are no excuses. If not, then Meager or Vizza will have earned the spot and life goes on.

Brown at DE seems more likely than playing DT. Not sure of his speed to turn plays inside though and his ability to put pressure on the QB from the outside. I sure hope he can do it. Chapman was the quickest DE put the man could flat out play and had a lot of experience (something that Charlie Brown does not). By no means am I knocking Brown, I want him to play his butt off and make plays as much as the next guy. Deloach is going to have to really mix up his defense with nickel and multiple different front looks possibly using LB's as speed rushers to get some pressure on the QB??

The Franklin kid might be forced to the defensive side of the ball. I have no idea how athletic Franklin is but we need some defensive line help in a hurry.

The Mean Green D can't get a break. Deloach is going to have to be superman and two or three players will have to come out of nowhere. This is borderline ridiculous.

One Todd Dodge Jr. (called Riley by his family and friends) is a QB, period and end of story. This isn't SLC and high school ball where he will play slot. This guy will play QB, and that is it. Can you envision Riley going over the middle for a pass? Nah, me neither. Why would the best QB prospect EVER, as most have posted, ever play another position than QB?

Please complain about participation and so forth but not one person on this board has yet to post the discussions of the preview. (yes, including myself) and maybe Vito wasn't invited.

Riley is growing to throw at least 4 td passes, hopefully all, to UNT recruit Des Brigham. Riley will be the MVP to cap his illustrious high school career. He will then be primed and ready for Deloach and his defense in August.
