Wow, the New York Times. Dodge again full of himself and now full of his son. Riley is now is the next Chase Daniel? What a slap in the face to Gio and Tune. Coach Dodge made another huge blunder for the remaining QB's on campus and for those who will be recruited. Can you say ARROGANT? All I say is ask the players, ask the players. Ask the parents at SLC about Padron vs. Dodge? What a joke, is this the best way to coach up our young QB's by calling your own son, the best he has ever coached along with freaking Chase Daniel. Riley can only smell Chase's jock. If Dodge loses Gio or Tune over this, it would be a shame. Blood is thicker than water. Its gotten worse because Dodge has lost most of his players with all the woulda should coulda and "we are family." I would love to hear from last year's senior players to compare DD to TD. I would like to know how the Soph., Juniors and this year's Senior's feel about the coaching staff? Has the team lost faith and trust for a coach who have never taken one ounce of blame in two seasons. Are the players buying in or have they checked out? We know how one senior feels by listening to Mr. Meagers posting. I'm sure their probably many others. It appears that many have checked out. If what Tasty said was correct about ULM making adjustments reading our calls and knew when we were gonna run or pass, how do you think the OL and QB feel knowing the defense has an advantage on most plays. This ain't high school ball. Dodge cannot outcoach the opposing coaches on the opposite sideline anymore. Go back and listen to his arrogant comments on his hiring concerning the Sunbelt, it tells how much he underestimated the Belt.

Saying no comment is a lot better than saying something you might later regret. Vizza and the rest of the team have taken their share of blame as they have all season. What else is left to say after being throttled by a team that completely dominated them? FAU with studs all over the field only scored 17 points on Troy. All Conference QB Rusty Smith fared no better than our QB and he is supposely NFL material and loaded at WR. If Dodge can do you anything for this team, its to not read this bull crap on this board. I just hope the young players stick with it and don't give up. You know they are all hurting so piling on doesn't help.

It will be interesting to see what Dodge comes up with against the number one ranked pass defense in the Belt. If Dodge can move the ball on these guys, I will give him major kudos. We have to have a lot of success running the ball to keep Troy's blitz in check and stay penalty free. We cannot afford anymore TD drops or any blocked passes at the line turning into int's. Have to stay in front of the chains. TD getting in third and long will be tough to overcome because Troy will play press coverage and go man and bring the house. The chess match between Dodge and whoever is the Troy defensive coordinator, will be extremely interesting. Last season Dodge got smoked, I have a feeling Dodge has something to prove this week against this defense.

Blakeney is one helluva coach. He recruits really well and is a good evaluator of talent and toughness. He is one tough nosed coach and the boys from Alabama and Auburn avoid him like chicken pox. Vito brings up some good points out Blakeney and his recruiting abilites despite being stuck in the middle of SEC country and the fact that their is absolutely nothing to draw kids to that area of the country. I sure hope Dodge has a way to slow down their big play guys on defense. They killed last season with their defensive scheme. Deloach has his hands full as well. SPECIAL TEAMS better be special or their speed will make a huge difference.

What is the over/under on what the alumni will raise over the next year?
