Air Force is winning games with the same talent they had last season. Funny that the UNT Safety coach this season was the offensive coordinator and QB coach at Air Force Last season.

Not sure why were talking high school football on this board (UNT off week, I guess) but the SLC system and discipline will beat the hell out of Maimi Northwestern. No contest. SLC has a ton of talent and a great offensive line. No contest boys, 3 or 4 TD difference.

You have to look at the intangibles (along with talent and stats) when thinking of the best ever. I'll take a winner who lays himself out there on the field, than a kid who can run or pass it for stats.

Casey, by far, is the greatest story line so far this season. Guts, determination, belief in oneself, Patience, faith, and hope all come to mind when thinking of Casey.

The answer to your question is yes. You have to dig a little deeper on this one. Ask the SLC boys, they know who is coming.

Its a long season. Better be careful who you annoint so quickly. Most of you guys flip like a fish out of water. Everyone wanted Meager gone and now he is the next best thing since Dan Marino. Next week, he screws up and you'll be calling for Tune or Vizza. SMU was one game. Stats were off the chart but the stat that mattered was the loss of the game and the three picks in the fourth quarter. If DM can be resilient after he makes a mistake or when the pressure is really on, game after game.... then we got something...same thing for any of the other back ups.

The Navy boys should take those clowns and put them in the stockade.

UNT is quickly becoming SLC to the next power. More SLC personnel are coming in the football program in strategic areas. RV would only let TD fire and remove only so many folks last December.

Give DM a break. That was his first game with some pressure on the line. Lets see how he responds the next few games.

Casey should be this year's poster child for all those kids who believe in themselves and who go unrecruited. He paid the price and look at him now. B-Jax may be on the poster board but Casey is a flat out stud and the epitomy of hard work and belief in oneself. Give credit to DM as well. He battled on the negativity to get where he is today. Now he must move on to the next level and become a winning QB. He has proven he can throw it. Now he must show he can win games. Give DM his opportunity thru Arkansas then we can debate whether he is our future for the rest of the season and next year as well.

I am walking into Hooters right now. I am going to ask TD myself about the WR rotation. So the troll will continue at Hooters. I just hope I can reach the microphone.

Look at Sam Hurd last night, that is a prime example of why you work in 2nd team WR's in the freakin rotation. But you go ahead and think your way.

Yeah I saw the good Doc. at the tent where I was getting drunk. I asked her to wear the black top and show her belly like the other ladies so that the old farts would have something else to look at. She said she would at the FAU game. Now THAT is freaking spirit. She told me she would put Dodge2007 on her belly. Boy, am I proud.

The banging on the head is correct. That is what we'll be doing if we don't get some experience in the WR corp. No way B-Jax and Casey can catch that many passes and last the whole season. We have to get some depth. We have to give some of our 2nds. some playing time on the outside.

Your basis for UNT having a chance to beat FAU is on stats? Common, you can't get away with that crap. Have you watched FAU on the dish? Have you seen what they look like this season? UNT is going to have play their ass off to beat "the walrus" and FAU. We can't afford three INT's in the fourth QTR. when the game in on the line, to have a chance against FAU. Mendoza needs to flange up our defense soon or we will quickly be 0-4. Not what I want, but being realistic. I already know that being critical and "throwing the shrap" on this board gets my ass chewed and makes me the most unlikable person on the board, but I keep it real. I don't have green colored glasses and I don't where five different shades of green shirts either. I like the black tops that the chicks were wearing in that picture at SMU, however.

TD better start getting Rod, Dibrell, Lewis, and Breece some P.T. soon. We had the perfect opportunity to put them in against SMU but our WR coach chose not to get them any reps. Anytime you chase down a 35 or 40 yard route, be it a completion or not, a Wideout should come off the field and we should give that previous player a chance to get his wind instead of an iv at half time.

Whose hot and not? UNT defensive scheme by Coach Mendoza. Dodge called him one of the best D-coordinators in America in one of his press conferences???????? Pretty high praise for a man who has never called a college game. We keep playing Cover 1 (not giving some different looks) we are going to be last in defense in America, well maybe second to the last, I forgot about SMU.
