Hmm. That IS fun with numbers. As TM and this team learn, assuming they do, things will go accordingly. And I'm not referring to skill and ability. Potential just means you haven't done it yet. Dean Smith used that sub theory and so did Roy Williams for a good while. It's not "every little mistake", Dad (or mom). I don't agree with the philosophy for long-term, but if it's mental mistakes or lack of effort (however slight), I do. It's not gonna hurt someone who wants to win. And some players don't really know how to play hard, esp. frosh and juco. They may think they do-but most players will admit later they really did not know how. And if it becomes a long term problem, that def. is on a coach for not driving the point home by sitting them early and often.

According to this thread, I just may be basketball smart. Anyways, I would guess that several players who are counted on still have the AAU bug. No urgency, and no understanding of the traditional authority of a coach. Team hasn't jelled obviously. Oh no, it might take harder work than anticipated. and, maybe the star player webpage that leads this forum can take a powder til a double double arrives. I don't care how much buzz TM has created, there are holes in his game that are easy to take adv. of. If he can get 1 shot in 9 minutes, he needs to whip some ass on his own team. That kid is no where near professional level with the little things.
