Well obviously, I think we all want the best player to be starting. I'm just saying that it will be DT, and that expecting some kid who couldn't beat out a JUCO scrub for the starting job to be better than a 5th year senior/3rd year starter is ludicrous.

Mark my words, 25K plus, no doubt. You guys aren't students, you aren't on campus every day seeing what I see. In my time here, I've never, ever, ever, ever, seen them hype a game like this. Ads ALL OVER campus, daily email reminders, multiple ticket locations....they're going to go WELL over the 8K student tickets, and it'll bleed into the GA section without a doubt. There have been commercials, ads in businesses (remember the local business competition to see who can sell the most 2 for 10 tickets...), et cetera times infinity. Honestly, 25K would be a disappointment in my mind from the amount of hype for this game. The only reason we won't get there would be because of some apathetic alumni. Get the hell to the game, the students will be there, and so will the community. Pay a babysitter, do what you need to do. This is a once in a decade type of opportunity for UNT...a NATIONALLY TELEVISED FREAKING HOME GAME. Anything other than the funeral of a close family member, or a job commitment you can't get out of, and I call weaksauce on your excuse.

I don't get the negativity on my post. I honestly don't get how it can be seen differently in any way. Outside of him leaving, sucking worse, or being hurt, he's starting next year. There isn't doubt about that. He's going to be a 5th year senior looking to start for a THIRD SEASON. You don't ditch that for some punk who can't start at a JUCO.

DT will be the starter next year. That is nearly 100% certain. The only 3 possible scenarios where he does not are these: 1) DT transfers elsewhere to start working on his masters while in his last year of eligibility. 2) DT is hurt badly either this season (giving rise to another starting QB), or during camp next year. 3) DT absolutely sucks the rest of this year and gets benched. Other than those, there is virtually no chance we see anyone else starting next year. He will be a 5th year senior with 2 full seasons as a starting QB under his belt. I don't care if we have the top QB prospect in the country coming in. You go with the veteran with experience, especially in a situation where our caliber of opponents will be increasing dramatically with the conference switch. Berglund will be starting in 2014 probably, unless someone beats him out in the open competition for the job once DT is gone.

I'd say he's a legit 6'10" and probably 260ish, but weight is obviously harder to guess. He's a damn big dude. (This is UNTstormchaser, FYI)

2 seats for 10 bucks. that is the selling point. a lot of people know about the promo, did you not remember hearing at the game and beforehand that local businesses ARE COMPETING to sell the MOST TICKETS via that deal? 25K easy.
