I grew up in Houston. I've found some at college outfitters or sports stores at malls, like Fanattic at Memorial City but very basic stuff.

It literally just blows my mind that a school that is one of the largest in the nation (top 50) with excellent academic programs has never really had a competitive team on a major scale. Detractors can point to us being a directional school, but look at the other large states and success from their directional schools...USC, UCF...we've never even caught lightning in a bottle in a hundred years. Just mindblowing. Mean Green sports just aren't fun, anymore, to me. I don't know if I can handle another terrible season of football.

Sometimes, I feel the same way...I'm really fed up with putting so much energy into a team/school that really doesn't care. I'm still going to attend all the games next year, but can't guarantee that if I move elsewhere I'll spend a lot of money to attend a few games a season. This season is really my breaking point. We haven't had a winning team (or even a 6-6 team) during my time as an undergrad. Kinda wears on you, y'know? Especially when you have a lot of UH, UTSA and A&M friends...

UTSA has passed us by, or are at least at our level. TSSM on the other hand, absolutely not. They did sell out the Tech game, but the thing was like 30/70 TSSM/Tech fans, then promptly went back to the gutter in attendance. They're still in the Sun Belt. Which, as bad as the CUSA is now, the SBC is firmly cemented as the bottom rung of FBS football after this realignment. I mean, schools wanted to get out of there SO BAD that they paid a lot of money to skip out a year early (MTSU, anyone)?

Blood Sweat Mean Green? Sounds sweet. Don't want to drive to Lewisville, though. Waiting for the Flying Worm shirt, not buying anything else atm!

My point is that I wouldn't be okay with Denton ignoring us. I wouldn't be okay with 21K for our season opener. I will say, if we're good...we won't have attendance problems.

I really would love to work for the marketing department, I have great ideas. But I'm realistic. That'd be a job I'd be emotionally invested in and would take home.

And we play hard at Apogee. Looking at our roster and schedule, I see a minimum of 6 wins. This is our year to make a splash and we will. Oh, and Berglund. I hope to God we don't go 2-10 or our attendance may dip into four digits.

If Thompson starts, this is possible. I don't see it. Mac went 5-7 with the terrible 2011 team. Transfers will be huge. Predictions from these places are poor because they don't do much research into the situation (i.e. Berglund starting). I stand by my prediction of 7-5. There's too much talent for 2-10.

Can't have too many options. I'm in for the $28. Just not sure I can trust the AD to do it right. They'll make a faded shirt and make some "100th anniversary" logo and that's it. I want Flying Worm. I, personally, like it in the lime green but am OK with Kelly Green, too.

Nike all the way. They fit the best. Built the best too. I hope this actually happens. I'm going to cry myself to sleep if this doesn't. Pretty sad we have to do this ourselves to get this made, honestly. I honestly would love a "vintage" shirt with the worm that says NTSU honestly, but maybe I'm the only one. Either way, this shirt in the real lime green would be life changing.

If this isn't real, I'm going to find the heathen who teased us and mercilessly beat them for days.

I meant Boone. Those two confuse me. Because I think Mac knows this is his last shot to get it right and he is not going to hold back or stockpile players. This is his team through and through and the transfers show that. Feldt has a lot of talent and our C is fairly weak, in my opinion. I think he comes on strong in practice and Mac puts him on the field. Mac's all in this year which is why I also think Davis plays CB2. The other reason I think this is because it seems blatantly obvious to me Thompson will not be starting next year unless Berglund is terrible. Mac doesn't seem to care much about your tenure for this upcoming year, based on his comments.

This is a good game with a potential 25K+ attendance and will have lots of marketing since it's our 100th anniversary. Potential to go 1-0. I remember when Astros fans clamored for a black jersey. They got rid of it because they're brutally hot. Black is terrible. And if you do black pants, you look like the Ravens (leggings). Green and white are our colors. Stick with them. Flywire our jerseys, put a stripe down the legs and put a matte white SOW towards the facemask of a matte green helmet. I don't get why people like these jerseys, they're the most unprofessional crap I've seen in a while. Looks like a PS novice whipped them up in 20 minutes. We don't have cool apparel? I'd tend to disagree. Nike brought us tons of sweet stuff. The NT interlock is cliche and overdone.
