  1. UNT Barnes and Noble bookstore is a stand alone in front of McConnell Hall. It will be completed by this August.
  2. I'm not sure I understand why people are freaking out over Idaho. This team performs quite well at home. We usually beat who we should beat at home.
  3. Yale has a Barnes and Noble bookstore. They're huge, luxurious and have tons of apparel. This is FANTASTIC for the university. Voertmann's being sold is rather worrisome, although the store looks like crap as of recent. Hope that it doesn't go away. I love that place.
  4. Sounds like all the crap they play before games.
  5. I think a 4-8 team becomes a 6-6 team (also, easier OOC.) Natural progression and training gets us to 7.
  6. I said in that post anything under 6-6 should result in a firing! 3-9 may be so disastrous that this program may never recover is what I was getting at. That being said, I see so much potential this season.
  7. CUSA is easier than the SBC. We have an easy OOC schedule and an easy conference schedule. If Mac fails, I'm done with him. 5-7 is not acceptable.
  8. While I don't think this is the most hyped UNT football team, this year is vital. With this schedule, anything less than 6-6 should be a failure worthy of a firing. Our home schedule is easy. Time to take advantage. We win at home. Win 5 at home. Unrealistic, but seriously. Especially because we seem to finally have more publicity due to CUSA. We need to stop expecting mediocrity. One year turnarounds happens, look at ULL. This team was 1-2 plays away in most games. I think the 2013 team makes those plays. We looked very competitive and strong often and flat in others. I think we'll be fine. I think a 3-9 season could be disastrous towards our perception, fanbase and our future. Mostly due to Bumford...we suck in both major sports. That's scary. We have fans desperate for something, or we risk losing everything we've built.
  9. We improved everywhere except for defensive line. I don't see how we go 4-8. We were a few plays away from 6-6. An improved team makes those plays.
  10. Idaho-Easy win, will be a big crowd, opening at home. Expect a blowout. Ohio-Loss. Team will be better than last year. Will roll. Ball State-Close win. Georgia-Loss. Tulane-Easy win. MUTS-Will be a fun game. We will win, since it's home. Tech-Loss. Really underestimated team. Southern Miss-They'll be close to as bad as they were last year so we'll win. Rice-Toss up. I say win. UTEP-Loss. UTEP will be a battle. UTSA-Blowout win. Tulsa-We lose. Stand by 7-5. Feeling confident. I don't think we need to improve too much to get there and I think CUSA is a step down in competition.
  11. It's not about not wanting to move up. It's about the MWC being the same as CUSA but with travel and unknown opponents.
  12. I agree. I think we say NO to the MWC, if for whatever absurd reason they asked.
  13. I see no benefit whatsoever to Texas State and I think UTSA's attendance will fall as the team struggles. Maybe UTSA will show the world and come in firing, but I don't see it. I'm not suggesting we're any great pick up either, though. All about UTEP.
  14. That's funny. Your inferiority complex is the best. On the upside, you aren't located in Denton. Much better town because of that.
  15. Really? You've polled the TAMS kids and asked? I much prefer your concise comments. Ever looked at our retention on TAMS kids as of last year? It's very high. About 2/3rd of them stay here. Back to your hole, with Queen. And like it or not, they do represent the school well. The TAMS girl on Jeopardy wore a North Texas sweatshirt and wiped the floor with everyone else.
  16. He won't breed. Giving him way too much credit.
  17. Lovely. Why do I put time and effort into rooting for this team? It's pure masochism.
  18. Sissy art degrees? You failed out of UNT, if you're excelling at UH, you must have some real sissy degrees at Cougar High.
  19. Cougar Queen, does it make you feel good inside to know that both of your schools' fanbases hate you? I mean, there's a bit of annoyance at my opinions but it doesn't seem like everyone hates me. You, however. Not a lot of <3. You just piss off everyone. Literally, every single football fan on every forum you've ever posted on dislikes you. Yikes.
  20. Uh oh, the Queen and GL2greatness are going to talk about the wonderful area that the 3rd Ward is and the wonderful school that UH is.
  21. Why the hate for Denton County Hamburger? The hickory burger was so good it should have been illegal. Their Square location was incredibly rundown, not surprised they left. They had a sign up they were renovating it, guess the cost was too much.
  22. Well, of course they put us down. We had one of the best talents in the NBA draft. We didn't even bother to use him correctly and half the time Benford wouldn't even START the same guy. I brought my Dad to the UNT/UTA game and he was like "Where's this Tony Mitchell guy you speak so highly of?" I think Tony Mitchell's situation may very well be a dagger in our basketball team's future. UNT's basketball program...Benford'd
  23. And Cougar Queen has a pretty high opinion of herself. She doesn't realize that nobody is really concerned about a UNT dropout's opinion. But man, the UH trolls are quite obsessed with UNT. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. It's kind of like GMG.com's obsession with SMU, but way more extreme.
  24. The Wing Zone is NOT coming down under any future expansion plan laid by HKS or Manhattan It's the trademark of the stadium and a huge reason why Apogee holds noise. Expansion is upper deck student side. The bridge's roof and the logo is proof. In addition to the original expansion plans. It'd be pretty clever if y'all had UTSA at home to open, because then y'all would sell out the game. Still think they should put y'all in the Astrodome with no renovations and treat you like Houston's version of Ned Snow.
