I was in 210, it was terrible. I got a bunch of weird looks for cheering and the guy behind me bitched the entire game about "How did this school get this much funding for such a huge stadium? This place is empty. How embarrassing." Back to the student section next week.

I don't care if we're seen as dirty. This is Mac ball. Old school, gritty, smash mouth D that rarely gets played anymore, and I love it. Puts the Mean in Mean Green. You know that our reputation will put second thoughts into the WRs and RBs trying to make that extra play.

I don't think Skladany will be going anywhere for a few years. He's pretty old and him & Mac are BFFs But he needs a Keep Denton Beard shirt, bad.

I sat on the alumni side today, quite upset, I've heard I missed a LOT of good heckling.

I really don't think I can think of another defense that hits like we do. Like, our team isn't as fast or as good at coverage as a lot of teams but the difference maker is that insane hitting skill we have. Even a wide open catch isn't a guarantee because they just *rock* the opposing team.

I think if we can beat LaTech and Southern Miss, we could have a sellout for Rice. The atmosphere would be incredible.

It was incredibly loud. Needs to happen more often. I think the crowds will only get bigger and bigger, and more energetic/involved so I think the chant will continue!

I've heard a lot of rumors over black uniforms. Think it's likely gonna happen.

It was 21 for the Idaho game too and there were way more people there today than there were at Idaho.

That North Texas chant was epic. Crowd was loud, and energetic. We really could stop coming in so late and leaving so damn early though.

Great student turnout too! I'd like to pretend I had something to do with that. Still feel that it was more in the range of 25K.

I've never met a student that didn't know there was free tickets and I've been here for like 3 and a half years now.

Just got off the phone with Vito. We're gonna do an interview after the game on Sunday, to see how attendance turns out, and then talk about it that way, then go from there, a story possibly on Monday. We just kinda talked on the phone. We'll see. Really curious to see how attendance turns out.

But most students do. They put that on pretty much every promotional poster.

Doubtful they stack the box. Word is getting out that we're a pass heavy team, so likely this is when we need to bust out the run.

We have like a 30% chance of rain. Settle down on the rain. Anyway, yeah, you have to pick it up at the ticket office. Why is this a topic? Students are always allowed in free.

Yeah! Hope this keeps on rolling. Been getting a lot of huge tweets. Twitter makes a bigger impact than a lot of people think it does. This is great, love the publicity we've gotten off of this! Hope it translates well. Gonna keep this going even after this game. We'll see how it goes!

Weather looks to have improved. 20% on Weather Channel, most places have it from 20-40%. Also, UNT is really, really pushing to get students at the game. In addition to my campaign, they're giving away gift cards and shirts to people who pick up tickets...it's also Family Weekend. Crowd this weekend should be in the low/mid 20s depending on weather. Supposedly Rick is asking students for any and all suggestions for attendance improvement. Also, Cynthia Izaguire seemed to allude to me on Twitter she might give a shoutout to my #hit30k thing or just a shoutout about the game on TV. We'll see how this goes!
