  1. Mac ain't leaving until the job is done. He's got a while with this team. Once the team has a solid foundation, Mac will retire. Admittedly, I worry he's worn down about the attendance issues, but still.
  2. 25K. Free tickets to the kids under 14, the "Zombie March" thing, all the festivities...students will show up in force. Campus is abuzz with excitement. Signs are on every corner. Residence halls are hosting attendance drives (hall with most students gets an Xbox One.) etc. students will come in droves. Everyone is talking about the game. Guarantee the students show up, the alumni need to stop making excuses and show up.
  3. We won't get any. They don't even care in Houston about UH. In my 16 years in Houston, pretty sure I've never seen a Rice shirt, to exacerbate matters. But I'll be down there this weekend and if we win you can bet I'll be flaunting my Mean Green gear.
  4. It's already starting to dip. It's been 25K last two games INCLUDING all the free tickets.
  5. If Jerry sold the team, the team would immediately drop in valuation. You haven't led merchandise sales since 2008. That's a fact you can't argue. Period.
  6. I believe in this team because that Southern Miss game really was one of those games I think UNT would have lost before. I still think we'll let one slip. Likely to Tulsa.
  7. Soon as I get out of class.
  8. The Cowboys have only lead in sold merchandise one year since the NFL started keeping track-2008. The Cowboys do not lead the NFL in ratings and haven't since the late 90s. These are easily google-able facts unless you're living in denial. The Cowboys are the most valuable team, which is just a reflection (as it says in Forbes' article) of how valuable the owner is. Doesn't mean that you lead in merch or numbers.
  9. Hell yeah, this weekend F Houston.
  10. You guys don't have the best numbers, ratings or most merch sold and haven't since like 2005. I know for a fact that the merchandise crown goes to the Steelers, then the Packers, then the Niners.
  11. and are still the crown jewel of the league. Patriots, Packers and Steelers all disagree. I mean, hasn't it home yet when y'all play a team that travels well and half of the stadium is opposing fans?
  12. Well, I wasn't the one who got butthurt over "lol cowboys." The NFL needs the Cowboys to be good. Kind of pathetic that they're not. All that money and notoriety, still 8-8. So thus my "lol" comment and the wrath of butthurt.
  13. The Texas? Do you mean Texas Longhorns? The Cowboys are in a far worse state of disarray than the Texans. $31 million over the cap, heading to more 8-8 seasons. That's a lot more dysfunction than a team that is 2-5 after going 22-10 the last 2 years sitting underneath the cap. Don't think you understand "dysfunction."
  14. Ooh, forty year old men on an internet forum told me to grow up. Oh lawdy lawdy me.
  15. You assume that I was a Oiler fan growing up. Funny. Also, since you won your Super Bowl in 1993 actually in 1994, well, CHECKMATE, it was only one within the last twenty years. I embellished. It's more like 15.
  16. No, my "comeback" is that the Texans weren't even a franchise when the Cowboys were winning Super Bowls, so your Super Bowls are nothing more relevant than Browns fans talking about all their pre-Super Bowl Championships.
  17. We have one, and will have a viable backup plan after this draft but thanks. PS: Don't compare UNT to the Cowboys. We are a. on an upswing, b. going to games isn't a status symbol, and c. the fans who do go actually care. Anyway, I'll leave you your whining.
  18. Texans Inaugural Season: 2002
  19. Foster joined the NFL in 2009, was on the practice squad until halfway through, in which he was a backup. Has only taken a full load for about 3 years. You should stop worrying about us, and worry about the impending disaster in Arlington. But cool story bro
  20. Case Keenum put up 270 yards against the best defense in the NFL. You do realize Foster has been in the NFL for 3 years, right? Running backs tend to drop off after 10 years or so in the NFL. Wade took a defense that was 32nd and put them as the best in the NFL with no new players.
  21. Case Keenum is the answer. Foster is young, has 7-8 years left. Wade is an amazing DC. We've won more playoff games in our 11 years than y'all have in the last...pushing 20. I mean, if you want to make stuff up, go ahead, but our problems are minute and easily fixed. We're not $31 million over the cap on the cusp of another 8-8 season. Go ahead and draft another D-lineman, we'll grab one of the great college QBs in this draft as a backup plan to Keenum.
  22. I didn't bring up the Texans, did I?
  23. Well at least this dumpster fire is an easy turnaround that'll result in a good draft pick, and after we fix QB position this offseason. The Cowboys being a perpetual 8-8 club means you'll never get any high draft picks, thus never improving. Cowboys are in severe cap hell, which means this year many players will be leaving. Cowboys are on the verge of complete collapse. So "lol cowboys"
