    The football team is NOT happy they lost to Ohio. Some unhappy tweets from them last night.

    22K. UTSA talks a big game but has horrible ticket office numbers. Probably 400 traveling fans. Atmosphere on campus seems a bit dull, this is a really stressful week in the semester. Students are preoccupied, and I'm working my tail off trying to spread awareness but I'm not too sure student attendance will be that great. However, I expect big alumni showing and it is Preview Day to help even out the crowd. I've heard good things about actual ticket sales. Just don't expect a huge student turnout, honestly. It's a testament that 22K and probably student turnout around 4K is disappointing.

    UTSA has more T-shirt fans. We have more fans overall actually invested in UNT football and I think that's the difference.

    The thing that worries me is student turnout, quite frankly. At the very minimum I think we get Idaho-level attendance.

    Half of them aren't even students or alumni. UTSA averages like 2,000 students a game.

    Expecting a drop into the teens is a little over the top don't you think? I think it'll more than the Rice game but less than UTEP. It's Preview Day. There will be a lot of people in the Wing. And, I did but then come to find out UTSA's office has sold 200 tickets and RT has 120. So they're bringing less than Rice.

    So I've heard the UTSA ticket office has sold 200 tickets for Saturday and RowdyTalk 120. So is 320 traveling fans a "big" group of traveling fans? Originally I figured you'd bring Houston like numbers but reality looks like Rice.

    What weather factor? Cold and windy? People keep making up rain chances because 1 site says 20% of AM showers.

    That the atmosphere is dead or we need a bigger alumni turnout? It is. You can "not" buy it all you want and we'll see Saturday. I'm working my ass off trying to get people into the stands this week but not getting much response.

    They're so insecure. Blows my mind. I mean, it could be because UTSA is essentially a community college lower than us in just about every metric filled with students who don't want to be there. Although, to be fair, UTSA fans are not UTSA students/alumni. The fans are more of the kind of people who work at McDonalds and saw that San Antonio finally had a team so they jumped on board. Yet every time they go down to campus (once every few months since they don't have an on campus stadium) they get really pissed off when all they see are UT shirts on campus and realize how inadequate of a college it really is. So, they make themselves feel better by running over everyone else. Never met a more obnoxious and insecure fanbase. I truly think that if they played UT, they'd troll the hell out of their forums and discuss how UT should be scared of them. There's a common denominator among Texas State, LTech, and all their little WAC buddies. They all hate UTSA fans with a burning passion. They're the Philadelphia Eagles fans of the mid majors.

    This time it'd be valid, though. LOL. Campus atmosphere is just quiet right now. This is the type of game where we need alumni to fill the place up for us.

    Student attendance will be light, unfortunately. I think overall attendance will be light. It is what it is. 24K is still about what I'd guess. UTSA isn't a very alluring opponent, despite their competitiveness. It's not homecoming and the name isn't recognizable for students. It's an incredibly busy week for students, I'm going to have to work extra hard on all the essays to compensate for the game taking up my Saturday. I'm not making excuses, I still think 5-6K students show, but, I don't foresee a sellout.

    I had a dream last night we scored 100 on you and set NCAA records. It was a wonderful dream. Can't wait to see it come true Saturday.
