  1. The rule...uh...was enforced this year. *cough*
  2. Vegas is a cesspool of all that's wrong with America so I take the Denton slam with a grain of salt.
  3. He probably just wants to win and knows there's 0% of Colorado ever winning anything except a consolation prize in the PAC 12.
  4. I think he does. Our WR core will be thin on experience next year and I don't see Darius Terrell becoming anything big.
  5. But we've been passed up by UTSA! They win all the recruiting battles!
  6. UTSA cannot go bowling and was confirmed by them. Bowl slots are filled. Can only apply for one if there are empty spots. Personally, I think it's funny. But I got flipped off by their players and called every name in the book so I just want to watch them burn.
  7. I know! I'm so ecstatic for this season. We should be playing for the championship. The UTSA loss hurts. But it is what it is. This is just a precursor to better times ahead for the Mean Green. I don't see this team dropping off any time soon. It's a good time to be green.
  8. Some days you need the offense to win you a game. Simple. They didn't do that. People keep wanting to point fingers at the D but miss the fact that our special teams and defense got us here and is usually good for points. Didn't happen for ONE week. Similar to the Ball State game. Offense won that game but that offense has been absent since the MTSU game.
  9. I'd bet money we end up in the HoD bowl. That bowl would be the best possible situation for us. We complain about disconnected alums...that's how you connect them. The only DFW team bowling playing at the Cotton Bowl. Think about that.
  10. The rule is that UTSA can only apply for a waiver if there are unfilled spots. It doesn't matter who it is--I repeat, who it is--the NCAA is not going to tell a more tenured program with 6 wins to stay at home so transitional UTSA can go bowling. So UTSA cannot file a waiver or form or complaint. There's nothing they can do after one 5 win team wins tomorrow. Period, end of story.
  11. Wish I could +1 you for an excellent, well thought out post.
  12. UTSA already said they were not bowl eligible. The fans are whining and somehow think they can fight the NCAA (good luck. If Ohio State can't, neither can you.) UTSA will be sitting at home come bowl season. Fact.
  13. UTSA looked a lot like the Hurricanes, to be fair. Waiting for the sanctions.
  14. Or the ball that deflected off of their leg that we recovered... Or the twenty PI calls that weren't called. Never even turned around half of the time.
  15. Oops. I meant to -1 you. Love our announcer. If it's too loud, you're too old.
  16. The Alamodome is over half empty for 5 out of 6 of your games.
  17. Really freaking tired of people who went here but hated it come on here and try to pretend they're some UNT know it all. Let me methodically kill your argument...the Alamodome is far from campus and UTSA has awful student attendance. It is an ugly, outdated stadium. It will hurt their recruiting. Larry Coker is the single problem with the U mentality. The U was at its dirtiest under him. Fact. UNT is one of the better universities in Texas and far and away better than UTSA in every single metric. UTSA has a 60% retention rate and a 9% 4-year grad rate. Speaks for itself. Are you saying the weather in San Antonio is nice? I do like to visit New Braunfels but the city of San Antonio is a horrible, terrible town. It feels like a reject city, the AT&T center is a dump, the Riverwalk is ghetto now, SeaWorld sucks and Fiesta Texas is a reject version of SFOT. The original. Denton is USA Today, Rand McNally and BI voted it the Best Small Town in America. Was also voted in 2008 the best music scene in the country. I'd live in Denton any day over SA. High school caliber, eh? Well, that tells me all I need to know considering UTSA would probably fill that "high school stadium" once a year only if they played an AQ team. Your troll is obvious now. I call UTSA a junior college because if you don't get into UT, they offer you the ability to go UTSA and then transfer in if your grades are good. Same thing A&M does with Blinn. A junior college. There's a reason they only keep a little over half of their students.
