I still have no idea why SMU garners respect from the media. They've done nothing. They have no fans. The fans are arrogant and delusional; they still think they're top 25 material about to burst on the scene. Makes no sense whatsoever. They suck. They're irrelevant. They are 6-6 because the bottom of the AAC is worse than the bottom of CUSA.

Friend was at Tech when they went to HoD. Regular tickets were $75. They ended up offering students $15 tickets. Likely UNT will give them for even cheaper.

You do realize 15K students came to that game, right? That's bigger than a lot of SEC student sections. God forbid the apathetic alumni do anything. You know what make them do something? A bowl game. In Dallas. Against Michigan or Nebraska.

These bowls don't care about prestige. They care about who will sell the most tickets.

We have to pound the rock. The team starts off slow often because of this but the team builds off of it--see our dominating 2nd halves for proof. Early we don't have the big plays but we slowly chip away at the defense and then by halfway through the 2nd, the defense is gassed and we break the big plays. Derek is not good enough to throw 40+ times and win. I think we should throw more on first, but not go overboard and toss it 40 times a game like we did versus Tulane and UTSA. Those two games aren't "us" unfortunately.

SMU is delusional enough to think they're still a destination? They could throw money at him--sure--I think we could match them if the time came. SMU is no paradise or step up. They're a step down.

None. That's a guaranteed 30,000 tickets in my opinion. Just for us. If they schedule a Michigan or Nebraska they will set the HoD record.

I had relatives in WV. Don't ever go there. There's nothing in the water, just awful people.

I have no idea how SMU still has such a high and mighty opinion of themselves, still. No fans, pathetic turnout, terrible team, coach who hates his job...SMU is an embarrassment to the AAC. Losing to us will not lower that view. They're scared that they have been passed up and may lose BIG next year.

UTSA's attendance continues to drop.

Dajon Williams? Berglund? We have a lot of good options.

He's what, our 7th 3 star recruit? Mac's finally building this program from the bottom up. He built 2 star recruits into superstars, can't wait what he'll do with all these 3 stars. One of the better classes in CUSA and recent history at UNT. Our record and having so many recruits at that UTEP game with our biggest crowd and best performance was HUGE.

This makes my stomach hurt. Can't believe we had this let down.

I'm in Atlanta this weekend and it's on TV here! Woohoo!

Likely in name only. Haha. If the Cajuns can fill the Superdome we'll have plenty at the Cotton Bowl.
