    If you look at my post history, I've been talking about how he needed to be gone long ago. Nobody told him to give that buffoon Dana that stupid extension, keep the baseball coach for no reason among other things.

    Be happy that he thinks highly enough of UNT to list them with everyone else. Some recruits only list P4 offers, as in the could have 20 G5 offers and Vanderbilt but only talk about Vanderbilt.

    I don't blame him. It seems that every UNT head coach is enthusiastic when they start then get drained really quickly. That said, Morris has the most resources ANY UNT head coach has ever had. So his pain isn't comparable to what Fry or Dickey went through.

    We get Big 12 trolls on the UH site sometimes. I've only seen UNT fans there a few times.

    I first learned about the Scrappy-Eppy thing on NCAA Football 10 I think or it might have been like NCAA 05 where the loading screens would have trivia about every FBS school.

    "Big ass championship ring." ......That he won as a D-Line coach with 2 future 2nd round draft picks (Dunlap and Cunningham) playing both Defensive Ends while Urban Meyer and Tim Tebow did all of the actual work. Hell, any of us could have coached that team and won.

    High end NIL pays more than rookie contracts plus the college experience. Same reason why NIL killed G-League Ignite in basketball.

    Yes but we've had a player drafted every year since 2017 and 29 drafted in the last 20 years.

    UNT has got to get guys drafted. 2 in the last 20 years despite having 5 different head coaching regimes during that time period isn't good for a D1 Texas school.

    Those schools you mentioned have already reached out to The Big 12. Also Louisville and Pitt have 100+ year historic rivalries with Cincy and WVU respectively. Keg of Nails and Backyard Brawl will both be owned by the Big 12 soon enough.

    If they wanted to join the ACC, they would have joined with Cal and Stanford. We already tore the Pac 12 apart, the ACC is next.
