That's funny you only looked at rivals since Greenberry is 5 stars on Scout and ESPN. A handful of our 3 star guys are 4 stars on Scout and ESPN. That's funny considering that we went 5-7 the year before we went undefeated and STILL sold out our stadium. As I recall, LSU is ranked higher academically than UNT.

Well, I guess we can complain about the greeks putting up their letters and scaring the alumni. UH has been certified Tier 1 and I never said we were loaded with 4 and 5 star recruits. I simply said 4 and 5 star guys come to UH. (Which they do, as shown by Rivals, Scout and ESPN) As for the part I bolded, that is one of the many petty things that you guys make a big deal about. When we play the middle of our fight song, the band remixes it a little bit and everybody loves it. The alumni and old school folks tell us do whatever we want to have fun while still keeping and building the foundation of tradition. When you crucify the greeks, which is vital to the student body socially, you have a poor student response. As shown last year, when that article was written.

I'm from Southeast Texas, been around UH for a good portion of my life. I went to UH's College Gameday last year and the SMU-UH game as opposed to staying in Denton and watching UNT play FAU or something. Half the undergrads camped out or stayed up all night excited to get into the gates among others fun events. It was better than anything I been to at UNT. (Yes, I went tailgating, stayed at games til the end, I know UNT's fight song by heart, the Eagle claw, etc.) Don't know who RJ is.

I thought I was posting on a UNT board. The answer to whether or not this is all an act is obvious but I'll let you interpret that however you want. Is baby gonna cry? As long as you are respectful in our stadium, cheer for your team and go home, there won't be any trouble whatsoever.

I've been to a lot of cusa road games and watched on tv. ECU and UTEP can be tough places and UCF is okay but everybody else doesn't come even close to the Rob.

I obviously should have been more clear. It's one of the most hostile places in C-Usa. Anybody with half a dose of common sense would have known I meant that.

We wouldn't lose to Idaho, UTSA, or NMSU. We most likely wouldn't lose to San Jose State or Utah State either. (Though USU has shown flashes of brilliance so...)

Explain to me why we sold out every game and averaged 31k even though we went 5-7. As opposed to you guys going 5-7 and barely getting 18k to show up. Apathy here is a thing of the past (Unless we take sucking to a whole new level)

Rodriguez is injured, he was going to play in the Rice game but re-injured himself at practice. He is questionable for ths Saturday. I'm having a blast. Rice isn't big on smacktalk and therefore I ddidn't do a whole lot of it last week. They're way too depressed right now. Our coaches are always lured away by Big 12 and SEC schools which shows us the quality of our staff. Even though USM beat us, we still got the better bowl game AND they were flat out rejected by the Big East. They haven't won a game yet this season and are dealing with their own problems right now. As far as conferences go, until the Big XII comes calling, Us, Boise, Louisville, Cincinnati, UCF, Rutgers and USF will be staying put. No Rutgers isn't an attendance killer, not only are they ranked and undefeated, but our fans attend any game at The Rob. Regardless of the opponent.

I was ignoring the Cougar High remarks which was actually the provoking until Caribbean Green started the fire. Yeah, I hit you guys where it hurt, but that was more so in a response to Caribbean Green's lack of facts. Don't act like you guys are innocent. So basically all of the UNT folks got mad because I said I don't see this game being very close for long because Sims, Greenberry, Spencer, McDuffie and Piland when he gets hot were too much for their defense...
