    It sparked our administration to get rid of Applewhite. Honestly I completely forgot about that game til now. I think UNT losing 66-7 to FCS Portland State is more embarrassing than losing to 11-2 #19 Army.

    Yes, losing by 6 in the Elite Eight was a sad night. How did UNT's Elite Eight game go?

    Oh yeah, the game we were leading when our star point guard (who is currently the starting point guard for the Toronto Raptors AS A ROOKIE) got injured. Remind me again when UNT can put somebody in the NBA that lasts for more than a few games AT BEST.

    Miami was jacking up 3s from half-court. Even on the heavily contested shots, they were making them. It happens in the game of basketball sometimes. Meanwhile UNT has never been to the Sweet 16. For us, the Sweet 16 is expected so it's whatever. Give it up James, you can't get under my skin.

    Losing on a call that would have been overturned today is not a big deal. UNT never has and most likely never will play in a Cotton Bowl.

    A 2nd round exit on a buzzer beater is a disappointing season for us but UNT held a parade and a banner ceremony for getting blown out by Villanova in their only 2nd round appearance ever.

    This ain't the flex you think it is. UNT will never play for a national championship In any revenue sport. Phi Slamma Jamma is a legendary college basketball team with multiple NBA hall of farmers. The 1987-1988 NTSU basketball team is only remembered by a handful of people on this site.
