I always hated the TDECU Stadium name, I had just gotten used to it. Space City Stadium is so much better but nothing will ever beat The Rob.

The Houston/UCF/Cincinnati move from the AAC to the Big 12 broke USF and especially Memphis, UConn and SMU. SMU managed to weasel their way into the ACC but watching Memphis crash out has been glorious. I hate Memphis and they hate Houston. The fact that they truly think we stole their spot because we played Texas politics makes this crash out even sweeter.

Yes, but Purdue is already in the Big 10 and can bring 62k when they're actually good. The problem is that UNT is trying to get to a power conference and therefore can't afford to be bad like Purdue can

From what I researched, Deuce Adams the guy he backed up in HS, plays at Louisville (who UNT offered). So Morris must have noticed him then. Seems he had a bunch of D2 offers before UNT came along. I'm surprised he jumped to QB2 so fast.

The UH-Tech hate runs back to the SWC days but heated back up when we joined the Big XII. Their cops got in our AD'S face screaming at our admin to go back to Houston. Their fans fought our fans at a few games, the whole nine yards. So I root for Tech to fail almost every time.

It's funny how before the Pac 12 imploded and UT/OU just announced they were leaving the Big 12, UH, Texas Tech, Ok State and TCU approached about joining but were turned away because the Pac 12 presidents didn't realize what USC and UCLA were plotting. That being said, Pac can go in several directions with this. -Get UNLV and either UTSA, Texas State or Memphis -Some combination of UNLV, Air Force, Memphis, Tulane, UNT/UTSA/Texas State -Convince the Dakotas and Montanas to finally go to FBS if the TV numbers add up. (Reminder that Montana turned down invites from the WAC and MWC in the past because of financial feasibility concerns) -Nothing is predictable with this anymore so something absurd like Ohio State would join.
