Hodge did everything asked of him and then some but got nothing in return. WVU is starving for a winner and shows up even when the team is mediocre.

About 10 years ago, a push to the Pac-12 started since that was believed to be UH's chance at a power conference since the Big East lost its status. A lot of investments were made in forming relationships out west hence the OOC games with Arizona, Oregon and UCLA. UH, Texas Tech and TCU begged the Pac-12 for memberships when UT and OU originally ran for the exit but the Pac 12 said they didn't need to expand. Well...USC and UCLA left for the Big 10 a month later and we know what happened after that.
