  1. Damn, even ESPN picked up the luncheon debacle.
  2. Exactly. You wouldn't even think they finished at the bottom of the Big 12.
  3. I don't blame him. The administration showed him firsthand that he wasn't respected when they forced him to give up homecourt advantage for a damn luncheon. UNT competed for a conference championship and won 27 games yet couldn't get more than 4,000 people to show up to the Super Pit. Hodge did everything asked of him and then some but got nothing in return. WVU is starving for a winner and shows up even when the team is mediocre.
  4. Agreed. Everybody knows it's North Texas State University. Home of Eppy the Albino Squirrel
  5. Evidently not. Been at it on here for almost 13 years and I still get a reaction every time I post.
  6. About 10 years ago, a push to the Pac-12 started since that was believed to be UH's chance at a power conference since the Big East lost its status. A lot of investments were made in forming relationships out west hence the OOC games with Arizona, Oregon and UCLA. UH, Texas Tech and TCU begged the Pac-12 for memberships when UT and OU originally ran for the exit but the Pac 12 said they didn't need to expand. Well...USC and UCLA left for the Big 10 a month later and we know what happened after that.
  7. When Renu Khator left USF to become President of UH and Chancellor of the UH System, one of first things she said was "Athletics are the front porch of the university." Keller should learn from her.
  8. There are three guarantees in life. Death, taxes and UNT never missing an opportunity to miss an opportunity.
  9. Why would he bother looking into this when you guys get mad at him every time he posts something?
  10. Even in my wildest, trolliest dreams I could have never came up with this.
  11. Memphis always has and always will be garbage. Easily our biggest rival in the AAC
  12. Coulda woulda shoulda. UNT never misses an opportunity to miss an opportunity. Win those tough OOC games and you won't have to win the conference tourney. The AAC has sent as many as 4 teams to the Big Dance on several occasions.
  13. This is too easy. I didn't even realize SIU-Edwardsville was a D1 school before today.
  14. That's not anything I or any other Coog fan denies. In fact, the only times we've been solid in football over the last 35 years is when our QB has a last name that starts with K or W. Ware Klinger Kolb Keenum Ward King The jury is out on Weigman but the trend works in his favor.
  15. They coach who single-handedly revived a bad D1 basketball program who happened to be unfairly blackballed had his show cause coming to an end and was coaching the Rockets. It really was a perfect storm.
