In response to #3, my freshman year (1987-1988) we hosted the Sunbelt Conference Tournament and played in the championship game (live on ESPN). The Super Pit was very close to full that night and it was extremely loud! We won the conference championship and went on to play North Carolina in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament.

This is more like it! Huge discrepancy in free throws (15-4) in the first half.

I'm keeping track of it on radio but also about to watch Clemson and Notre Dame.

How are we losing to Rice? They are 5-8 with wins against St. Leo, Alabama A&M, Northwestern State, St. Edwards, and UT Rio Grande Valley.

Does today's (and really the second half of the season's) lack of performance deter any recruits from coming? I hope not. Also, if your future coach was just rumored to be fielding offers for other HC jobs, it can't help our case either. I'll feel much better when (and if) they all sign on the dotted line. It is this incoming class that provides much hope and is crucial in building the program.

Until we start winning the big games, it is here to stay. No one takes you seriously until you do so.

Games are won in the trenches. Everyone loves flashy skill players. But, it's the muscle up front that brings championships! Being dominated up front has cost us in every loss this year and will in the future until we address this issue.

At least we have a legit canon and didn't have to attend SMOO!

A lot of injuries today. No one wants to be a part of this debacle.

This team peaked in pre-conference. We became the media darling. We let it go to our heads. Teams began to figure us out. Coaching didn't adjust when needed. Blow out in a bowl game. Pretty much sums it up.

I see a lot of quit on the field today. This is embarrassing.

That TD was embarrassing. We look horrible. The team has responded poorly to the coaching turmoil. Talk of looking for other coaching opportunities doesn't sit well with those that you leave behind. We look apathetic.

Have we won a game this season against a team with a winning record?

We are clearly outmatched. But, it doesn't help that we appear unprepared and unfocused.
