  1. Thanks. Good luck with Ohio. If for nothing else you have to beat them because they're the "Bobcats."
  2. Okay....so that's pretty funny. But, that will be Tyson hurting your feelings if you're wrong.
  3. What's the tailgating situation up there? Any tips or suggestions for opponent fans?
  4. Lol You poor thing. I guess you need to step up your game and say something even more outrageous.
  5. He's not the only one. It's just that there's little substantive conversion to comment on. There's a lot of bickering back and forth about things that can't be proven yet. Mildly entertaining though. Looking forward to making this game.
  6. greenminer...where did you get this data?
  7. I like that table. Very interesting information.
  8. lol...quality entertainment.
  9. I like these for the "capture the flag" option.
  10. I think this idea has a potential. Each team would have to have 3 copies of their own flag in in the unfortunate event they lost 3 of the games. Is there a start over point were the flags are returned? Or would new flags have to be purchased every year?
  11. I like the overall idea of a competition between the C-USA Texas schools. You have my support for the concept but I can certainly see a lot of issues that would need to be worked out. For some of the reasons a couple of y’all already mentioned, swapping the flag each game would cause logistic problems. Two options are to have someone volunteer to transport the flag when necessary or each team could have a copy of the flag and they could only fly it when they’ve earned the right to. I don’t see “charging” the field to swap it out realistically happing. Some schools have strict rules about going onto the field after a game. Maybe the “cheer” groups or mascots or something could get involved in that. The easier option would be to let the school with the most wins at the end of the year fly it till the end of the next season. I know this doesn’t create as much week to week excitement but it would be an easier idea to sell to the school administration. We would also need to figure out how to determine the winner in the event of a tie. Not a hard thing to do but something to consider. Most points or best overall record or most wins against other Texas schools, etc… I like the “Come And Take It” flag idea. I see that the school mascot pictures replace the cannon on the flag and it doesn’t look bad but I feel many may want to see something on there that actually needs to be taken. Like a picture of a football trophy or something.
  12. Thanks Ken. We have a lot of folks that are anxious to play y'all as well.
  13. Hey lebomb...welcome to gomeangreen. Run 'Em!
  14. Good points. Thanks Mo.
  15. See ntmeangreen11's comment.
  16. We can't give the tickets away for the Silver Stars either.
  17. lol...just as many as y'all have going to NASCAR.
  18. I'm sure it would dip if that happened. Probably something really embarrassingly low like 28,075. But, I'm sure it wouldn't go lower than that. With 13K season ticket holders and 10K students, 5k buckets of chicken and a few gameday sales...we'll be ok. Just curious…what’s y’all record attendance?
  19. Besided UTSA and the Spurs we have: Silver Stars basketball (ladies) Missions baseball Rampage hockey Talons arena football Scorpions soccer
  20. I agree....we're looking for a good rivalry. Thanks.
  21. I'm not familiar with any Roadrunner fans that are sensitive. The ones at Rowdytalk.com and Inside Runner Sports are not. Do you get banned often?
  22. Great questions. We have signed a contract till 2035 to be in the Alamodome. The majority of the fans are very happy with it. It is centrally located in the city which is a valuable asset in making the games accessible to our growing fan base. Additionally, it is a great location for our visiting guests that would also like to visit the Riverwalk, Alamo and other attractions. Yes, the Alamodome sells beer. The hawkers sell the metal bottles….freakin’ cold!
  23. The majority of the starters last year were freshman. The majority of the starters this year are sophomores. Here is the latest depth chart: http://www.goutsa.com/fls/13100/pdf_files/football/2012/depth_chart.pdf?DB_OEM_ID=13100
