The KFC avatar that got put on some of the UTSA fans on GMG is hilarious.

Any of y'all going to be tailgating for this game? The best place for tailgating is in the Alamodome parking lots. There are port-o-potties w/ hand wash stations, it's an easy walk to the dome and there is law enforcement around. Parking in the Alamodome lots requires a parking pass. These can sometimes be hard to get because they are generally sold only to the season ticket holders and other athletic boosters. However, they can be found for sale on places like bestticketsl.com, Craigslist or sometimes guy sell them on RowdyTalk. RowdyTalk or Besttickets have the best deals. I saw some on besttickets for under $30. The ones on RowdyTalk are usually season ticket holders that just can't make the game for some reason or another and don't want them to go to waste. They usually go for $20-30. (Face value is $20.) There are other parking options around the neighborhood in "private" lots. Usually for $15-20. I've never heard of anybody having an issue parking in these locations. Parking can be done downtown in the garages as well. It's not a bad walk to the Alamodome from the downtown SA action. Dang dude. That was a good post. Seriously. It's good to see some positive excitement about the game. A dedicated fan should always be looking for ways to get excited about the next game. You're doing it. We don't need the media to tell us a rivalry is being created. There's already one starting naturally between the fan bases. I'm looking forward to a great game from both teams. The UTSA Equipment Team tweeted today that the Roadrunners will be wearing all white.

I wouldn't say I feel "sorry" for y'all but I don't like seeing those things happen to another team in our conference. I want C-USA to stand out in a good way. That happens by having respectable, competitive and successful sports programs. I wish y'all and all the other teams the best...except when you're playing the Roadrunners...then I want you to get a beat down.

We're not mad. It appeared to be an attempt at a fair ranking. We just don't agree on some of it.

You hate the Alamo!?! That's the most terrible thing I've ever read on gmg. The Alamo is not a "San Antonio" thing...it's a Texas thing...this leads me to believe you hate Texas. If this is the case, you have some serious misery going on in your mind.

We play each other in SA Saturday March 7, 2015. Should be a great game.

I like playing y'all. There is a sports rivalry "developing" between us whether anybody wants to admit it or not. UTSA already has a defined "I35" rivalry with txst. But...since we're not in the same conference we don't get to play each other in sports as often as we would like. I'm not ready to start pushing to organize a rivalry with UNT yet. But... The "sombrero" trophy idea is horrible. I would rather have something that could be displayed and paraded at games. Like a flag or a banner. Or "battle" streamers like military units can earn.

That's an awesome idea. If y'all beat us...I would like to see that. All you gmg folks need come on down to SA in November and support your team. Unless you're just a miserable person to begin with you're almost guaranteed to have a good time. (win or lose) We're typically very hospitable to our opponent fans.
