  1. They'll keep it for track & field purposes until facilities are constructed at Eagle Point. See again: these slides from the Master Planning presentations recently. The demolition of those portions of the stands are within the 1-5 Phase (i.e. now) to make room for the visitor's center and such, and the track facilities across the highway will come sometime later.
  2. Psh, I can wait for the YouTube upload. BUT! I'll be in the stands at most every game regardless.

  4. So this is cool and all, but why oh why is it so dark!? And the color saturation so low!? It makes it look like Apogee is set in the future zombie apocalypse.
  5. I wish I could actually fully claim it. My source: friends with Nick Williams (Green Brigade, Pep Bands) on facebook, he's subsequently friends with the one, the only: Johnny Quinn. That's where the photo is from. Find that guy and shake his hand.
  6. Boom. This post has been promoted to an article
  7. Mac's sitting pretty at #1 now with about 1/2% above Sumlin. This is now funny.
  8. http://www.footballstudyhall.com/2013/4/24/4263582/tempo .....aaaaaaand we're #101.
  9. I love how by Kingsbury, it's just listed: Texas Texas.
  10. I guess I totally call the second to the left, but get me the far right guy's pants, STAT. That'd be me. I wish. And oh the amount of people I've disappointed when they realize it's Walker and not Walken...

  12. Calling Oregon's bad implies you don't get it. Sorry, bud.
  13. ....I'm really, really glad we don't play Marshall this next season. But! Could you imagine a Green on Green CUSA championship game?? Mmmmm....
  14. My wife was stoked to get a #3 (Chancellor??) practice jersey that she's gonna wear to work to teach her kiddo's the basics of the sport in a few weeks. I got a nice fitting #73 Bryan Glass jersey from probably 2006 or 2007. Fun!
  15. If Dunbar had broken all the RB records... I believe I remember voting for him. Wonder what was what there.
  16. Cause I would.
  17. My quick thoughts: QBs: DT was his same old, though marginally improved, self - unsatisfactory. McNulty has drastically improved, but still had major skill holes - form and motions, good; passing and ball handling, bad. Bergland, if he makes it into a starting role, will be by far the most fun player to watch at North Texas in a while. He unfortunately today had very little to work with however, and that one jumpy receiver... His scrambles are Manziel-like, and I love that. I thought the O-line was solid for the most part but surprisingly whiny over certain things. C'mon, Abbe. Oh and the easy sacks today?? Hmm... Running game: we're still way behind here, despite our talent and growing depth; there were no standouts today. The receiving core is definitely filling out, but needs serious improvement in awareness and separation from defenders. ----- Our new faces in the kicking game look to have a lot of potential and Olen is still Olen. There were a couple of wind-assisted bombs within the five-yard line that were fun to watch. I love the way wind works in Apogee. It may have been just the nature of today's game, but the return crew maybe needs to start showing some real, er, enthusiasm at their position. ----- Speaking of enthusiasm, I loved the White team's scrappy attitude and vocalism, and was surprised at our starters' rather vacuum of such. Perhaps we need to return some "lock the gate"... ----- The lack of depth at D-line is quite literally leaving some gaping holes on the field - worrisome. I didn't really see anything too special from the linebacking core today; Zach Orr, where you at? I did however love to see the new size we have in the backfield! They were certainly the most pumped for today's game and some of the best plays came from them. ----- Sir Calvin Harris was robbed ----- Did I just completely miss seeing Canales today? Am I missing something there? ----- Lots to worry about, but equally lots to look forward to.
  18. From what the lead architect explained to me: partner with the City to purchase the lots, but hopefully keep most of the existing businesses there, but with revamped façades that are cohesive to the rest of campus, thus making it an "entrance gateway" to the university via Ave C.
  19. I hope Ayers/Saint/Gross took our comments towards making the two sides of campus more cohesive and hopefully seen as one identity. When I represented the Sustainability stakeholders, that was a big issue for us, of all things.
  20. He also counts wins against FCS schools as a different adjusted factor.
