  1. Was a little uncertainty here as he never showed he was signing here last week like a lot of the other commits, so it was big to land this one
  2. This is my guy right here. Feel very confident he’ll be a good one.
  3. Looks like we are bringing him in to play that rush LB spot like the Murphy twins do.
  4. His offer list out of high school https://247sports.com/Recruitment/Bryson-Jackson-97750/RecruitInterests/
  5. Signed and redshirted at TCU in 2018. Transferred to Houston in 2019 where he sat out, then to Blinn for 2020 where he didn’t play due to the season moving to spring. Should have 3 years to play 3. https://247sports.com/player/bryson-jackson-94445/
  6. He’s 3rd on the team in minutes. Even if he doesn’t start he’s going to continue playing a lot so I think that’s the important thing. Mcbride has looked like he’s going to be solid too, just needs more D1 experience like Jones.
  7. Good find, Cooley
  8. Because it’s arguably the best chance to improve draft stock, right up there with the combine.
  9. Yeah, no hype men. Unless they’re a QB watching the other QB take their job. And we are dying for someone to finally break our draft drought, but if they want to opt out of the bowl game to help make sure they keep their chances high, that’s a no no.
  10. Looks like we get another YouTube stream of the game. Link below.
  11. I’ve said this before, but White might be gone.
  12. I’ll be honest, I was very underwhelmed with Ogunmakin this year. 16 catches from a starting receiver in an offense that was first in the conference in passing, and a large amount of drops and misplayed balls in the air from him. I’m not out on him completely, as he obviously has tools and should continue to get better, but I would much prefer if we have a better option at least in the starting lineup next year Also think he had slightly over half his yards from Bean but not 100% sure because of the games where they split time.
  13. What are you talking about? I never said anything about bias. All I said was that I was correcting the stat and providing additional data on the turnover numbers. I didn’t partake in the commentary on Bean on the sidelines. I have stated multiple times I think it’s dumb and irrelevant to who should be our starting QB. No disagreement on this here.
  14. Part of me wonders if it would make sense to move Simpson inside to Darden’s spot. That’s where Simpson played in high school so he has background there, and there are some pretty solid outside receiver options both on our roster and in the portal. But I don’t think we are usually super eager to change receiver positions, so not sure if that’s a route the coaches legitimately consider.
  15. My point is if someone is dogging Aune’s turnover issue, they are also doing the same to Bean, whether knowingly or unknowingly. I have yet to see someone incorrectly state Bean’s turnover total or rate as higher than it actually is, like Emmitt did with Aune, nor had I seen people arguing that Bean was turning it over worse than Aune this year. If they did I would’ve presented the facts.
  16. As @MGNation92said, these are literally just the facts. Aune has turned the ball over once every 35 times (212/6) he has passed, been sacked, or ran. Bean has turned the ball over once every 30 times (152/5) he has passed, been sacked, or ran. If you count fumbles that they coughed up but we recovered (so not technically turnovers) the numbers changes to once every 26.5 times (212/8) for Aune, and once every 25.3 times (152/6) for Bean. My initial post in here was correcting Emmitt’s meme saying Aune turned it over 8 times by posting the FACTS that his number is actually 6, then following up by showing numbers to point out that you can’t dog Aune’s turnover numbers without also doing the same for Bean, since his rate is actually worse.
