No Kidsy is the 2* #192 wide receiver, not Dajon.

Kind enough to not run up the score? I'll admit to drinking my fair share of green kool-aid but Miles had his starters in up until late in the fourth.

That formation is usually referred to as stone. I like when we get in that, but I would also like if we got in wishbone a little, so long as it worked of course.

On his highlights it says he ran a 4.63. He probably ran that 5.14 at a camp and that is the only official time ESPN has, but don't let that scare you. He is mobile and will be fast enough to escape the pocket at times and will be effective running read option plays, just don't expect him to be Vince Young or Braxton Miller.

WKU's Nigel Snipes to miss season w/ torn ACL

Oh yeah they're WAC now, my bad. For some reason I was thinking that wasn't effective until 13-14, but yeah thanks for the correction. -
WKU's Nigel Snipes to miss season w/ torn ACL
BillySee58 replied to NT03's topic in Mean Green Basketball
This could hurt. They're an undersized team and they're losing some key bench players, not to mention the huge loss of their best overall player Derrick Gordon. I just don't think they have the depth or size to beat us this year, although they'll always scare me as long as they have Harper as their head coach. I'm thinking Denver and MTSU will be our toughest competition this year with WKU a little behind them. -
ESPNU picks up 2 MTSU men's hoops games

Awesome! I'm from that area of Tennessee so I will be back at my old stomping grounds to watch that game. Nice to know it will be nationally televised.- 2 replies

Looking at their roster Zollo was the only player they had taller than 6'7" besides Akol. They signed some 6'9" guy from Spain but other than that their roster is short. Their best player is George Fant who at 6'5" is similar to Roger Franklin but better. Unless their new guy is dang good, Akol is going to need to play like he did in the SBC championship game for them to even have a chance against us this year.

You're right. His release is not going to start looking like Tom Brady's all of a sudden. His release will never change at this point no matter how hard he tries (look at Tebow). That doesn't mean he can't become better as a Quarterback, but only time will tell. For him time is running short.

In Mac's defense when Osborn went in it was on their side of the field late in the game. It would've been looked at as running up the score had he attempted some passes. It's unfortunate we couldn't have been up by more earlier so Osborn could have gone in and thrown some passes. Looking at our upcoming schedule he isn't going to get much mop-up duty, especially if our passing game doesn't improve.

That will continue to be the thought/hope as this year continues. Thompson is a captain so he has a longer leash. Back-up QB is one of the most adorned positions in football, especially when the starting QB is struggling. If this continues I would like to see Osborn get a chance because I like what I've seen from him, but don't expect that for a while. Luckily we are clearly a running team this year once again.

The first round is held in four locations with a host team at each. For us we will be in Manhattan, Kansas for the first two games and if we can win those two we will advance to Madison Square Garden in New York to play the winner of the other three locations.

Yeah he shouldn't be but he was a loss nevertheless and you never like to lose a post player. They have the nucleus, even without Gordon, to be a top team again in the Belt.

Yes sir. All is going great here. I've hung out with Connor a few times, he's really enjoying things up here. This really was a great school for him and it's good to see him doing so well. Speaking of Chancellor, they showed you and the family in the crowd of the espnu broadcast after his first touchdown but I'm sure you've seen it by now.

The big guy Vinny Zollo left.

VERBAL - 2013 HS - Joshua Friar - 6'8 PF

Nor am I but nevertheless it is a big source of information. It is up to the interpreter to deem whether it is reliable information or not. -
Great post Mr. Trussell! This is Billy who was the center at Martin Connor's junior year. You're definitely right about Chancellor, he is too much of a playmaker to have zero catches even if he was double covered at times. I really want to see some sort of tunnel screen to get our big boys out there and let him be his elusive self behind them. Our defense is playing great and should give them more fits than Miami did last week. Monroe showed if you can keep it close until the 4th you will have a chance, so why not us?

He's been pretty outspoken on his twitter account, according to posts on this board, that his goal is to have a breakout year and enter the draft. It's not that out of the realm of possibility but I said possibly, not likely. As in, it is a possibility so if he were to declare we need to have our eyes on a few late signees much like Benford did with Hardwick and Coleman. -
Ah so DT played some baseball growing up. You can definitely tell by his release/wind up. Hope he improves because he is probably the best we have right now.

We have at least one scholarship left with 5 seniors (Franklin, Niko, Walton, Patton, and Holmen) but with TM likely to declare and possibly Chris Jones we could have up to two more there. -
You're right, Vito has already confirmed he will have 3 years starting next year. http://www.dentonrc.com/sports/colleges/north-texas-headlines/20120907-football-berglund-enrolls-at-unt.ece

A game that has looked more winnable in consecutive weeks, aside from Houston, is Arky St. They still are the defending champs and they have a very impressive offensive trio in Aplin, Jarboe, and Oku a former Tennessee Vol. However, they barely escaped by the skin of their fangs 33-28 at home against a Memphis program that has really struggled lately and lost to UT Martin of the FCS last week.

Jamal Marshall, DB from Missouri City, was right contain on kickoffs so he got some special team work. I assume you are only talking about true freshman.
