Keep in mind when Farrar committed he was still at Dallas Skyline. We only offered 5 high school QBs this class, and all 5 ended up going P5. Not only that, but 3 of those 5 were offered back in 2020. The last QB offer we extended for the 2022 class was Conner Harrell back in April. Seems pretty clear the staff just doesn’t care if we get a high school QB this class or not.

Ha, they have Bellarmine ahead of us. They only have 1 D1 win but half of their losses have been to top 10 teams and I think that’s propping them up. Even though they got blown out by those teams.

If they’re committing now, before the start of the spring semester, that would be a pretty likely assumption. The exception to that would be someone like Jace Ruder who was planning on finishing his degree in the spring. Head and Maclin have been in college for 3 semesters so I doubt a similar situation would be applicable with them.

December signing period is from Dec 15th to Dec 17th. High school and JUCO commits can sign during this period. Otherwise they have to wait until February 2nd. Transfers from 4-year colleges are not bound by these signing periods. They just mainly have to worry about coming over in time for the semester start (or late registration date).

His brother is a star linebacker recruit. If Amani is back next year I think I’d rather see him try his hand at defense than be our 5th string QB again.
