  1. Yeah, but they also got some bad breaks. Offense also shut down once they got up 35-20. They stopped the Allen offense then they got a bad break on Allen's punt. Hate to say they blew it, but they did as a team. Just like they won 14 games as a team. Can't see Allen losing to Pearland, but I couldn't see Trinity losing to Pearland 3 years ago, after they knocked us out of the playoffs my senior year and were 15-0, so you never know.
  2. But you could get a tweet mentioning you out of it
  3. Sorry guys, phone died. But Allen won in an amazing comeback 42-35. Allen went to punt and the ball hit a DeSoto player and Allen recovered. Allen also had a touchdown where their receiver fumbled and their own player picked it up and scored. Tough loss for DeSoto against a darn good team.
  4. Wow. Allen ties it up 35-35. Apparently Allen fans were leaving the game. That's what happens.
  5. 35-20 DeSoto. Desmon White is taking over. I think he has accounted for all 5 tds.
  6. Kilgore beat Stephenville 44-6. Very impressive. Seems like the two best teams will meet in he state championship game, as it should be.
  7. DeSoto up 29-20 on Allen heading into the 4th quarter.
  8. DeSoto up 22-20 in the third. Also, Kilgore up 37-6 on Stephenville in the 4th quarter. Looks like they'll face Carthage in the state finals next week.
  9. DeSoto takes the lead 14-10 with about 5 minutes left in the 2nd quarter. Desmon White with 2 touchdown runs. DeSoto defense stepping up as well.
  10. 10-0 Allen over DeSoto in the first quarter.
  11. Thanks guys. Just trying to channel this addiction to UNT sports and this site in a positive way
  12. I agree. Bringing in 4 potential studs at receiver this class, you have to hope we utilize that strength should it become one. Although we did have 3 receivers top the 500 yard mark this season, so they should know that we will get them the ball if they can make plays.
  13. We've offered at least this guy too, for class of 2015 http://www.hudl.com/athlete/o/1431110/
  14. Goree updated season totals: 86 catches, 1688 yards, 28 receiving touchdowns Rutherford updated season totals: 61 catches, 965 yards, 15 receiving touchdowns

  16. See guys! I knew Cooley could say good things about recruits! Just messin with ya Cooley. He definitely will have a chance to start. Harris will start in the slot again and Darvin Kidsy appears to have been groomed to start on the outside. The other outside starting receiver will be a competition between Darius Terrell, redshirting freshman Turner Smiley, and redshirt Sophomore Rod Lancaster who has been injured his whole career. If none of those guys separate themselves in the spring then Goree could easily come in and take it. Regardless, he will see the field plenty freshman year.
  17. Yeah, they used to be 4A for a while. I think that last year was their first year in 3A and they won the state title. Go figure.
  18. Will play the winner of Stephenville and Kilgore. Kilgore is the number 2 team in the state and has been rolling everyone in the playoffs. Stephenville is the defending 3A division 1 state champs and is led by Junior qb Jarrett Stidham, a national prospect who already claims offers from schools like Ohio State, Tennessee, Texas, and Oregon to name a few. Carthage has already knocked off one defending 3A state champ in Navasota (last years 3A division 2 state champs).
  19. Carthage wins 51-22. Will play the winner of Stephenville and Kilgore, who play tomorrow, next week at Cowboys stadium for the 3A division 1 state championship.
  20. Carthage wins 51-22. They'll be playing next week for the 3A division 1 state championship on cowboys stadium. Rutherford and Goree now have a combined 43 touchdown catches on the year.
  21. Rutherford with his 15th touchdown catch of the year makes it 51-22.
  22. Touchdown O'Keeron Rutherford. His 15th of the year. 51-22 Carthage.
  23. 44-14 Carthage. Touchdown by Tevin Pipkin, the 30-year old. Kid has had a great year as well.
  24. He's had a very good year at safety as well. 6 picks
  25. Touchdown Carthage, Tevin Pipkin. 44-14
