That last game before conference play may have been a win, but it was only by 3 points against a Division II School. Wouldn’t include that game as evidence of a good stretch.

Agreed. He did his homework and was giving perspective from both sides, not just the hometeam. Wish every broadcast had a guy like that. Instead we usually get guys who whine when foul calls don’t go their way and act shocked that their team can’t score against us.

Yesterday was a bad day for our past opponents. OU blew a second half lead on the road at Texas Tech (not a bad loss), and Indiana State and New Mexico both lost at home. -

New Mexico jumped up by 32 spots. That was huge for us. -
Wren also went on to say this does not include the Cross Country CUSA Championship. Also worth noting that both basketball coaches took over for coaches who failed to even make the CUSA Tourney in their last year and football infamously was coming off a 1-11 season and last place in the division.

We have played really good defense under Mccasland but these and-1s we are giving up today are examples of embarrassing defense. Keep getting out of position and giving up easy driving lanes then fouling when it’s way too late.
