He had 19 points yesterday, including some smooth-looking threes and a huge put-back dunk. Really excited about him. His offensive skills will be a huge boost to our bench.

Because in tournament play your rotation condenses. Your top guys play as many minutes as they can, and the rotational guys get whatever is left. Regular season is a marathon, single-elimination tournament games are sprints, or something like that.

Unless it changed and I’m not aware, the 1 seed gets the winner of the 8/9 matchup, regardless of whether or not any seeds lower than 9 make it to the round of 8.

No. We’d only have a two game lead on WKU with both teams having two games left and them having the tie breaker by beating us twice (in that hypothetical).
-
It’s fitting that this would be our last home game. This has been a tremendous season for fans. The quality of basketball games this season has been so far above what we have seen here in a long time. We knew our non-conference schedule would be tough, but the Charlotte game, La Tech battles, the OU game, etc have made for so much quality basketball for us to watch. A big deal was always made about OU, Arkansas, Utah State, Rhode Island, VCU, and Dayton games from the minute we found out about those games, but we also hosted two current conference leaders in Little Rock and NC A&T, both of whom we beat by 20+. I fully expect this to be another high quality basketball game where both teams force the other to absolutely earn every bit of this huge win.

One of the best 24 minute stretches we’ve played all season. Let’s make it one of our best 40.
-
He didn’t convert the three-point play (possibly intentionally). We were up one, which means putting him on the line there would have given him a chance to take the lead by hitting two free throws.
-
Then how did we finish with 71 points? It was 71-70 us. Bracey’s basket put them up 72-71, then he missed the free throw. They got another point after the Jackson foul at the end of the game to put them up 73-71.
-
Yeah, both teams were in the bonus.
-
We were only up 1
-
Watching Bracey at the end felt like watching Doolittle take over at the end for OU. On us for not shooting better throughout the game but not a lot you can do about Bracey. Having a better rim protector than Simmons could’ve stopped Bracey there, but we just don’t have that unfortunately.

Pretty much, but even if we won Saturday we could still have 3 teams finish 13-5, and I’m not sure if there’s a scenario where we could be the odd man out.
