  1. Hopefully I have been able to demonstrate my complete lack of understanding of how this police'n thing works. Despite my many hours of watching Law & Order at 4am.
  2. Word to the wise though, we established in another thread that campus police are licensed and can shoot to kill.
  3. Just think of what he could do if he actually played. I got a giggle out of that when I rewatched the broadcast tonight.
  4. We're going to need bigger helmets.
  5. Remind me again of what caused us to be on the 1 yard line in the first place.
  6. Thousands, consequently millions.
  7. Maybe I was getting confused with traffic type violations and whether or not they become part of the public record. However, to the point of the felony tresspass, could the campus pd choose not to press charges and the Denton PD would have no jurisdiction over whether or not to press charges?
  8. Someone may know the number of 2 for 10 tickets sold, but my guess is that a lot of those that bought tickets simply moved into better seats since there were many available. What was the total number of tickets sold for the game plus the number of student IDs swiped?
  9. Galloway spent a couple of minutes during evening drive at about 5:45. Started off ok and then threw in a North Texas State reference (doesn't bother me), and then proceed to pronounce the stadium as apOgee (hoagie). Gave kudos to Coach Mac, even his sidekick from Baylor said a couple of complimentary things.
  10. No? Aren't the university police a private police force that are afforded jurisdiction over university matters unless it is considered a major crime at which point Denton police would have jurisdiction? Maybe I am way off base here, but I thought that is the way it was (or used to be).
  11. Assuming something like this was handled by university police, this will not go on that person's public criminal record. I believe university police usually have jurisdiction unless it is pretty major. Not speaking from experience of course.
  12. I am placing a pre vote for ice cold birra. Hopefully next year for us common folk.
  13. Agree with not being field rushing worthy. It would have been mildly embarassing, but I would have probably defended the students if they would have done it. Heck, it's national TV, nice come from behind victory, encourages more students to come to games, etc... Would not have been a huge deal in my book. I'm sure I have seen field/court rushes in similar/lesser instances. Go to college, have fun.
  14. So, how does this two games in a row thing work? I forget.
  15. Just got of the phone with them and they said you are wrong. And that you smell like cigarettes.
  16. I missed BC's 34 yard run at the end of the 3rd so that probably would have helped my overall view of his performance. I certainly don't want to question his commitment to the team, but on the surface something just seemed a little off. On a positive note, our most reliable playmaker may not have been his usual self (IMO) and we still won the game.
  17. It's not like the kid put the team on his shoulders and was making unbelievable throws all over the place, be he never really has. We have given him so much grief for other performances, he at least deserves a little credit here (as does the whole team). There are a lot of QBs out there in spread offenses that pad their stats by throwing tons of bubble screens and little dump off passes that we shower with praise because the pass for 300+ yards. We are not about to put him in the HOF (but he did just move up two more spots to #7 all time), but he had a solid performance.
  18. Well, I am certain capable of posting some stupid stuff. Let's get that out of the way first. I can't put my finger on it but something just seemed off. I was home watching on TV by the time of that last punt and he did not even seem to make an effort. He just is not the same guy back there this year. Am I way off base here? Wasn't Trice returning punts for a while and BC returning kickoffs?
  19. And 75 of their 106 rushing yards came on that 75 yard run by Broadway in the 2nd qtr.
  20. I cannot agree more with this. He almost cost us the game by not catching the punt that landed at the 15 for sure. The other one landed inside the 10 so he at least has a reason. I almost got the feeling watching this game that because he was not getting a lot of touches, he was not giving max effort in all areas. I would be open to letting someone that is a little more hungry try their hand as the returner.
  21. Good grief, it will never be enough for some of you. Can't have it both ways. As far as I can tell it counts in his passing yards.
  22. Nah, I was just needling you guys in the other post. But it is a great reason to go to the game. You can't type messages easily whil you are angry. That 1st half was definitely reminiscent of the Troy game which was painful. We can only hope the 2nd half carries over to the rest of the season. Still lots of areas of concern. If things would not have taken the dramtic turn, this next week and a half would have been awful. At, least now we can complain about a win.
  23. Here's a fact for you: UNT 30 ULL 23 Total Yards UNT 524 ULL 371 Passing Yards UNT 282 ULL 265 Rushing Yards UNT 242 ULL 106 Any questions? I didn't think so. Now back to where you came.
