The backup quarterback situation will a talking point: If our guys only win 6 or 7 games (not counting a bowl game win), there is no way Seth will be offered a better job with a "bigger program". I think when he starts pulling off 8 to 10 wins in a regular season, then it will be impossible to keep him around. Also, I think he is good enough to make that a reality. SL gives a damn. You can just feel it when you speak to him. He cares about the players, the program, and the school. I have no doubt that he looks at this job as a stepping stone, but he is not the kind of guy to not give this job all he has. Now, I am ready to pay my 7 bucks, hook my I Pad up to my TV, and watch UNT kick the shit out of USM. GO MEAN GREEN!

He said it was at a charity auction, during Dodge's UNT coaching career. Guy said he was the only one who bid on it. Few weeks later Dodge was gone.

So, I could not make the game last week and decided to give the tickets to a guy from work. He wanted to pay me, but I said no worries. He decided to bring me a signed North Texas game used football as payment. When he first brought it up he said it was signed by Darrell Dickey... Sadly, it was not signed by Dickey at all. I will still display it with my other UNT stuff. Just funny though...

I am a big fan of Mason "So" Fine, but this stat is not all that great considering all the crap yards from the last game. Hopefully, he plays well this week and can tear up some CUSA ass. GOTTA GET A BOWL!

Oh I want them to win a conference championship every damn season. My expectations for this season is for them to go to a bowl game and win. I think it is silly to expect them to win the conference this season. Can I want it and hope it happens? Hell yes, but I don't expect it. Not this season.

These guys can still compete in CUSA. They are 1-1 and they can still get bowl eligibility with 5 more wins. That is a fact and personally, I think it is doable. We shall see how it goes.
