MGB video/DRC story: Media day story lines plentiful
North Texas Shep replied to Brett Vito's topic in Mean Green Football
It seems that we have a lot of hungry kids. They may not have been heavily recruited, but they will work hard. Hell, I was super impressed with the summer workouts, I saw. -
Kram I have a tattoo machine in my truck. If we win, you want me to do that tattoo at the alumni pavilion?

Sun Belt commissioner: Cut back on 'money' games vs. Power 5
North Texas Shep replied to Harry's topic in Mean Green Football
It would be great if every other year we compete with a bigger school. There is no need to go for the money shot every year (Yes, that is what it seems like). I hate looking at the schedule and seeing us whore out to some damn team. Now if someone wants to whore out to us, no problem. It would be great to play teams in the MWC, MAC, AAC, and CUSA in a season. Great idea, but I will not assume us undefeated in that situation would go to a huge bowl. That is silly. It would be great to be able to compete for the win every week. Scheduling those teams make that idea impossible in most cases.- 21 replies

Ranking the Vols' challenges in order of difficulty
North Texas Shep replied to Harry's topic in Mean Green Football
If we win this game I will have the biggest sports wood ever. -
Think how much faster all the above would have happened if he cared? New logo he hid for years, stadium he dropped the ball on first chance, and other positive stuff came with the new stadium.

'16 TE Cody Mitchell (Jasper)
North Texas Shep replied to BillySee58's topic in UNT Football Recruiting
This is the kind of guy we can get. They need to be his best friend. I would love to see him on the green side. -
I agree. In general everything is nicer. I recall moving from Bruce to Concrete City oo Ave H. Nothing pretty about it but that was college. During my time in college I took a lot of loans, because I had 7 spine surgeries and parents who had no extra money to hand out. The government would not help me and it was the only way to pay bills. I do not regret the loans I took out. Just wish I picked a better field of study, so I could afford to pay them back.

C-USA Attendance (What should our goal be?)
North Texas Shep replied to Harry's topic in Mean Green Football
Hear me out here... I know they offer recent alumni discounts and that is great, but they need to go further. recent almuni should only have to pay $10 a game for reserved seats. I believe this would really help fill seats and after 5 years jack them up to normal price. At that point they might have more money to pay more, or a new young alumni will just fill the seat. This could really help and we need it. -
What's In the Locker: New Uniforms
North Texas Shep replied to ColoradoEagle's topic in Mean Green Football
I am very impressed that they even did this. Get some hype. Good job. -
He has the ability to be amazing and we have all seen. Some of the best runs I have ever seen from a college running back have been from him. Last years was a let down (In many ways. Not just when it comes to him.). If he can pick it up and get back to form we may have something great.

If McNulty makes the grade will you step down?
North Texas Shep replied to Harry's topic in Mean Green Football
I am behind whom ever gets the nod. However, I am an armchair QB set in my ways ( like most). So, I will complain all off season and every time I feel it necessary (like most). -
An honest assessment of 2015 UNT Football
North Texas Shep replied to Harry's topic in Mean Green Football
This all makes me very sad... I forgot about the extension after one good year. Dang, well Coach Mac needs to step up and give us a good year in 2015. I have my tickets and will there to watch however it turns out. -
UNT Record Predictions for 2015
North Texas Shep replied to 10Eagle10's topic in Mean Green Football
Iowa does not have the QB play of WKU. I was rewatching their game against Marshall last night and my god that kid can play. They have some speed at WR on both sides. WKU could beat Iowa. In my mind. Now with that being sad, Iowa is a big school with a lot of talent and depth. They could reload this season with way more to offer than last season. We have to wait and see. -

An honest assessment of 2015 UNT Football
North Texas Shep replied to Harry's topic in Mean Green Football
So if this QB problem does work out badly (as many are assuming), we are 3 -9, and Coach Mack is let go. You guys think Chico could do the job? -

UNT Record Predictions for 2015
North Texas Shep replied to 10Eagle10's topic in Mean Green Football
Predictions are a silly. I do them every year and know I have no clue what I am talking about. Still, I do not see us winning more than 5 games. However, I am saying 6-6. Do not want to pick my team to ever do worse. Plus, I am ready this year to go to any bowl we get into.
