TCU at least drops kids like a bad habit if they do something wrong. "Coke" ring as you call it, kids gone (even the starters in the "ring"). Kid gets a DWI, off the team or out a season for rehab. Best defensive player is seen hitting a girl and he is off the team. He was not even brought up on charges. So, this is the way it should be. Kids get caught doing shit like this, they are off the damn team in a heart beat.

I am ready for the season and ready for Andrew Football to hit the field. He has proved he is the best we have, as far as I am concerned. Count me on the lil Mac bandwagon for game one! Glad the defense played better. The d line has to be stout and deep, and it seems like we have that. Love watching the hog mollies fight it out in the trenches.

The real interesting number is how many arrests were pushed under the rug, never resolved with suspensions, or did not result in being kicked off of said team. True many arrested are for small things, but teams must use discipline and help mold these young men into good adults. Many teams try to hide an arrest or silence it for the sake of playing time. That does not teaching anyone a thing, but how easy it is to get away with shit if you are a star.

List makes no sense at all. Pro play should not come into play. Seems like it does in many cases.

You are clearly more interested in making assumption, then just going off what was said. I did not say I am a good fan or a great fan. My back gets no pats (hell I am hardly able to reach my back). The fact that it is TX OU weekend should not matter at all. If people want to watch that crap go ahead. I went to UNT, and will watch a UNT game over that any time. RV can be a real turd. We get that. As a fan you support your team, especially on home coming. It is my wife's birthday and we will still be there. What year was black added as one of the school colors? I know it was one of the ten years I worked on my bachelors. Can't remember which one (thanks to Lucky Lou's). Smith is a beast and will be an asset every time he is on the field. Better wr then most. I have no doubt the team is behind McNulty if he really has improved that much. He is a hard worker and get respect from the people that see him working hard.
