I am excited about some Mean Green Football! These new defensive players have speed and can lay the wood. It is great to see us getting some larger guys to play LB. It does bother me how thin we are at DL, but who knows if any of these kids can produce in D1 football. We will see. Either way... I am pumped.

That is all good to hear. I wish no damn 5-7 team got a bowl, but these are young men... Let them have fun. 6-6 in CUSA should get the bid before a 5-7 SEC school. As a player you know your skill level and competition in your conference. Regardless, where you fall in that spectrum you should always fight to be over 500. A 6-6 season with a bowl win is just that. Damn glad they acknowledge this now.

The Heart of Dallas Bowl was a blast but there is no way in hell I am listen to that crap. That SOB put us in a crap position for years to come.

If our guys still played in Fouts and they were winning consistently, then I would be happier (With that being said... I love Apogee and it is awesome). Plus, how much did RV have to do with the stadium? Any AD out there would have been tried to get a damn stadium. I really want someone to tell me why he gets so much credit for it. He is not going to be playing for the Cowboys, ever. Wasn't even able to crack the 4 th string of the all CUSA team (Like 16 lbs were picked for that all conference team). Wallace came here, earned a starting spot and I appreciate that. So... I do not want to poke too much fun at him. Every college should do a job fair like this for athletes. Why not? These kids work hard.
