  1. No we get SD for our viewing pleasure.
  2. Here is Mr. Millers answer: Dave Miller @Miller_Dave Follow 2013-14 Bowl Projections: shar.es/I1p5A Includes @HoosierFootball @BCFootballNews @Vol_Football and @IowaFootball - 23 Oct More Tweets Greg Goedecker@MGBREAK_DOWN @Miller_Dave do you actually pay attention to what goes on in the non aq conferences? - 24 Oct Dave Miller @Miller_Dave Follow @MGBREAK_DOWN You must've missed my inclusion of Lynch as Heisman finalist last year, my constant promotion of Boise as legit contender, etc So no he doesn't really pay attention. Just what the mainstream media is feeding him.
  3. No it's Fox College Sports. FCS
  4. People, people, people lets keep this discussion about football. There are more important issues at hand than talking smack about campuses and living areas. As far as I'm concerned there is a pretty damn big game this weekend before we even get to Rice. So make sure we stay on topic and make sure you keep your superstitions up to date. Now is not the time to lose focus. Now is the time to batten down the hatches. Pull yourselves together gals & guys!
  5. Every game from here on out should be treated like a playoff game.
  6. Sorry 626
  7. Should be 623
  8. Maybe he was just trying to foreshadow. Derek plays better after gets that first int out the way
  9. Which is good. I feel like it gives some bulletin board material for our guys. Nothing like a little disrespect to keep the team engaged this week.
  10. Okay lets be honest here. Its not that we lost a potential QB, its that we lost a potential playmaker. That's what hurts the most. Even though we have had some success recently we still aren't there yet. The buzz is building no doubt, but its not loud enough for difference makers to chose us over a BigXII school. My hope is that this kid gets to visit us again, maybe the Rice game? Who knows no need to shut the door on someone yet. Its a long road to signing day there is still plenty to play out.
  11. Sorry I was adding him in there to Grammer, Higgins and now Mullens.
  12. He is not as athletic as the previous two QB's we have faced I will tell you that. He is pretty accurate with his throws. Not great arm strength. Pretty small frame. I can see him making mistakes under pressure. He wasn't heavily recruited. I'd imagine his first pass will be much like La Tech's first pass- play action go deep. He will turn out to be a decent QB, but has a long way to go. Kind of interesting that we have face 3 freshman QB's in a row two of which were red shirt.
  13. Wasn't picked off, but it was blown up for a loss. Derek threw an int a couple of plays later on a desperation heave down the field.
  14. It was as a beautiful win on Saturday. It may not have looked pleasing to the eye, but I could care less. All that mattered on Saturday was to win, it didn’t matter how or what the final score was. UNT needed that win. The slow starts continue to plague this team. It’s already cost UNT two games. I can’t say how proud I am to see how resilient and tough this team is, but they need to do something to spark them early It’s not that I’m upset at the screen call; I’m upset at the execution. What was Derek thinking on that play? Reminded me of Brandon Weeden, your better than that Derek. Coach your players can’t execute that screen play so um yeah cross it off the list. I much rather prefer the draw to that. Final Thoughts - UNT vs. Louisiana Tech This post has been promoted to an article

  16. You tell him your recruiting him as a playmaker bc that's what he is. Sell him on the fact that he will touch the ball all over the field and at multiple positions. TCU has done quite well at player transformations so that's in their favor. Winning right now is in our favor.

  18. I appreciate everyone who has taken the time to go on over to our site and look at the breakdown. Hopefully you get something out of it. We try to give you guys and gals as much information as we can going into a game. At least as much as we have time to review. Again many thanks to all you Mean Green fans out there!
  19. Thank you Sir. If UNT hits this kid the same way they hit Montana well then expect to see Scotty Young. He looks fragile to me. You never want to see a young QB get comfortable. Him being comfortable means added confidence, which will lead him to play better. I think UNT will do a good job of keeping him off balance.
  20. The BREAK DOWN Enjoy! This post has been promoted to an article
  21. Yes Sir watching them in the evening time after work. I'm interested to watch the replay of the UTEP game. I want too see their transformation from a passing team to a run based offense.
  22. The Trice play was right behind pulling Kilgore. Go back and watch the ECU and BYU games. Grammer was used as a change up. He didn't give them the best chance to win period. The proof is in the film. Did we sack Kilgore? We pressured him but he still completed passes. He was athletic enough to move around and make plays. Plus he was coming off his best game. When your down by 3 scores it's time to go to your best passer. It was a head scratcher, but I'm glad they did it otherwise it would have been a closer game IMO.
  23. In honor of the awesome call from the Patriots radio announcers I have decided to come up with my top 5 game changing plays that led to the UNT win on Saturday. Oh and in case you havent heard it do yourself a favor and check it out. 5. MTSU making the decision to pull the plug on starter Lance Kilgore in the 3rd series of the game. This has been well discussed on the blog so I’m not going to say much other than it benefited UNT in a big way. 4.Brelan Chancellor’s 55 yard punt return before the half. Yes, I know UNT didnt get a TD from it, but it helped increase the lead and keep the momementum going for the Mean Green as they went into halftime. Plus a Chancellor return always gets the crowd juiced up, and thats what Saturday night was about. The players did their part in helping create a great atmosphere. Love the BIG PLAY! 3. James Jones forcing the fumble on the first drive of the game and Zach Orr recovering it. MTSU was driving and it looked all to familar for UNT fans- another slow start and having to come from behind. Instead the turnover helped keep the crowd involved and alive. 2.Reggie Pegram runs for 18 yards on 3rd and 1 on UNT’s second drive. This was the first sign of a postive ground game that UNT had been lacking ever since the Ball St game. The run helped set the tone for the rest of the night as UNT went on to run for 303 yards. 1. Laramie Lee’s interception with 6:57 to go in the first half putting UNT up by 14 points. MTSU seemed deflated from that point on. UNT pounded the will out the Blue Raiders and oh did it feel so good!
  24. Completely disagree. Kilgore was their best shot. Your not going to beat UNT by just running. MTSU's best shot was throwing the ball. Kilgore was quick enough to move around in the pocket. MTSU dug their grave with that move. Happy they made it though.
