  1. 5'7 no talent, speed, or skills to speak of. Mr Irrelevant basically
  2. Schulenburg High School, Schulenburg TX Willis Adams - WR Houston, Drafted 1st rd by Cleveland Browns Shane Hollas - Rice University Bo Adams - Texas Tech Casey Tabor - LSU
  3. I don't know they ran a lot WR screens at OU too. He would be an upgrade, but I don't hold him in high regard as you do.
  4. I wasn't aware that Josh had a flattering picture
  5. We only have one guy who can dribble penetrate. DeAndre Harris is the only guy who can get past his man. So we need more passing and quick ball movement to get that zone moving.
  6. It will be back in 2nd half. UTSA did a good job with ball movement while attacking the zone. We had some late rotations that led to open shots. Surprised Benford switched to man with a short bench.
  7. Agreed. In all honesty we'd be better off playing a 3-2, but packing it in. Our wings consistently get beat off the dribble. Tony B even called it a 3-2 zone with some hybrid looks.
  8. Who wants to go watch a streetball team with poor fundamentals? How about the players use better judgement in their game to perform better. Maybe then they would win some games causing fans to actually go watch. The message that is being sent by students and fans is we don't want to see a crappy streetball product on the court.
  9. I believe you could see a base 4-3 and throw in some 3-3-5 looks on passing downs.
  10. We do have a few pieces that could make it work, but do we have a penetrating NT or big DE's? No. So maybe not as a base D, but maybe as an every now and again look.
  11. Buffalo DL coach Chris Cosh new DC at North Texas source told @ESPN. He was DC in 16 of 29 seasons coaching. This post has been promoted to an article

  13. It would be nice if it was one of those big DT's Daryl Webster or Demario Roye both guys are close to 300 LBs or over
  14. Add in offensive minded
  15. Congrats, @C__Robertson, named @Browns 2014 Walter Payton Man of the Year for excellence in community and on field http://t.co/CcOaDkEOe1 Just a bit of good news for UNT alumni. I know Craig doesn't get the pub he deserves. He is the best NFL player from UNT. He is also one helluva guy off the field. Seems like every day he is giving back to the community. I'm very proud to have him as an alumni of UNT and to have him as a part of the Browns.
  16. Biggest thing I saw out of this kid was his eyes. He had a good feel for deciphering the play and making something happen. Decent block shedding skills. Not too fast, but has good drive and pursuit skills. He is only going to get better over time with the right coaching. I dont see him as an immediate impact guy. He could use a RS to get stronger on develop those skills. Being an ex QB you could tell on some of those plays he was reading the QB's eyes.
  17. Sad that the only marquee games in Apogee are the TX HS football playoff games. Great publicity though and glad Apogee is at least getting used.
  18. I believe it was already mentioned that he is staying on the KU staff.
  19. They started out in a zone but were doing a poor job accounting for Forte III. So they switched to man and Forte was able to penetrate forcing the D to collapse which led to those ease kick out passes for open 3's. We also did a poor job in picking up our man once he crossed half court. Particularly the bigs lost their guy in transition.
  20. Its going to be hard for us to ever win a recruiting battle against SMU now. I feel this is just the beginning of a bad offseason.
  21. Decommited today per Gabe Brooks
  22. Agree Harris can take almost anybody off the dribble only problem is he can't finish or puts up some crap shot. We played the second half like a disorganized street ball team. It wasn't close it was never going to be close after that opening run by Iona. We don't have the offense to overcome big deficits. Greg could not have held English to under 30 pts. Just wasn't gonna happen. He was on a different level. We have an issue with playing team defense. When we get in that zone we let the opposition drive which leads to open shots. In man the help rotation is not good enough. Still we are better than last year.
  23. What baffles me is how ever other team can finish around the basket and we can't. Also concerned with shot selection. Time to not make this an equal opportunity offense. AJ English torched us tonight. He was on a different planet and no one from UNT could stop him. Only way was to foul him. Arkansas and their 40 mins of hell are going to really do a number on us. I wouldn't be surprised if we hit 30 TOs vs. them.
  24. But we've all heard about this magic 3-2 zone that UNT runs. Isn't that supposed to stop those 3s? We make some of the worst passes in the NCAA.
