I think the biggest concerns are not in his title. I think the biggest concerns are that a young coordinator/play caller/ assistant head coach is about to have control over a full program for the first time. Can he fill a quality staff? I'm pretty sure his offensive staff is going to be a group of fantastic offensive minds, but where does he lean on defense? Of course we would all like to know whether he is an RV or President guy so we can sleep better at night. However, I'm more worried about him being the right guy rather than who found him. I will say he does not feel like a comfort hire. It feels like a guy we had to do our home work on. Especially when you think about the other names involved with him. A comfort hire to me would've been Meacham. We are about to land the guy who is calling and designing plays for the most explosive offense in the country. FACT

Real possibility of a Bruce Chambers hire? Excuse me but just stop. He isnt a finalist and never was a finalist. You dont have Meacham, Frost, and Littrell as finalist and end up with Chambers. You just dont. There is no reality of Chambers. I get it we have a below average AD, but he isnt calling the shots. Back away from the ledge. Stop listening to the negativity. Even if Littrell falls through we still wont end up with a guy like Chambers.

He had interest for the Iowa St job, but then nothing. Last time I talked to a Georgia Southern writer he said Willie may wait till next year. KST could open next year and that would be perfect. What if Air Force or Navy opens up? He'd be a perfect candidate there. Id watch Tulane as a possibility for this year.

If you think about the fact that Littrell was able to outsell himself over the likes of Meacham and Scott Frost you have to feel good. He should be able to easily sell this program. His offense combined with our facilities should be money in the bank. I think recruiting under Littrell is going to change big time. Its going to be interesting to watch who fills out his staff. I think he is going to bring in some good young hungry assistants. We will finally have an offense that appeals to recruits.

Heard Mike Canales is looking for a gig

Turned down a job at Texas last year. I would love him, but does he make more at Cedar Hill then he would at UNT? If he turned down Texas why jump at UNT? If Littrell lands him or a good DFW HS coach we could be in business. His offensive staff is going to be good regardless.

The past 2 coaches there have ended up at P5 schools.

So Littrell helps beat Clemson you think he jumps over a lot of those names I threw out? I just don't see it. Yes Toledo is a better job but he has no ties up there and they probably won't pay like us Tulane may pay like us but it's only a slightly better situation and probably tougher to win

Yes I have. It won't be Georgia, Maryland, Miami, Mizzou or Virginia. Those teams want current head coaches. He won't get a P5 job. Tom Herman was the best OC last year and only got a G5 job Memphis has pretty much got their guy. South Carolina is going after Smart or Muschamp Syracuse or Rutgers? Probably going to be a Northern guy. So ULM, Toledo, Tulane really how much better are those jobs? Have you forgotten who is still available? Id question Meacham's ability to recruit. Not a good recruiter Id question Littrell's ability to put a staff together Neither one has been a HC and will be running a program that has been a train wreck. They cant just focus on offense they need to focus on everything.

I wouldnt be so sure to write this year class off. I also wouldnt call either one of these guys slam dunks. They each have some issues.
