Littrell will push to install the entire offense in 4 days. Its what he has done at other schools and what many air raid coaches do. Holgerson said it should be done in 3 days.

He runs an Air Raid offense. Its Air Raid principles. He has tweaked it to fit the talent and personnel every where he has been. Its not the Leach Air Raid, but the principles and language are pretty much the same. He has said it and its been documented at almost every stop that Littrell runs an air raid offense.

Yeah its easy to identify some good players, but if you dont get them you have to be able to develop what you have or get. The previous staff couldn't develop players and they had trouble evaluating under the radar talent.

UNT is now recruiting Pirtle too. They have great interest in him.

Looks like his Mom was on that visit. Wonder if she was on the UNT visit. If not then its pretty much a sure bet he is going to Tulsa.

Fine is a more refined prospect than Schafer. I think his mechanics are better. I believe his footwork, pocket awareness, and eye discipline are better. I also believe he has a stronger arm and is a more accurate down field passer.

The whole Pro-Style/Dual Threat label is outdated. People see pro style and think Andrew Luck or classic drop back passer. People see duel threat and think Vince Young. Fine is listed as a pro style guy, because his primary weapon is his arm. But yes he is athletic enough to beat you with his legs.

Fine is a Pro-Style QB. He is more a passer than a runner. Your not going to find many kids out there who threw it 869 times in the past two years. Canadian is 2a. Fine is a much more refined prospect than Tanner Schafer.

I think it's more about telling the kids who were good players at UNT. Whose going to be the next Quinn or BC as they've been doing on Twitter.

Yes and No. Maybe but maybe not. Not sure anyone cares or maybe they do. There is too much talent involved in this game already. Not sure a hack like me is needed.

There is no such thing as stealth commitment mode anymore. Im not expecting any volcano of activity.

Wish we couldve landed him, but I do have faith we will land a decent HS QB in this class.

We are going to land a HS QB whether it's Burns or Starkel or someone else. I have a feeling that if they don't feel like Starkel will happen then Burns will get an offer. I feel they have a legit shot at landing Starkel. If the staff didn't feel that way another QB would've been offered by now.

Well for one he has had a short amount of time and not a lot to work with. It's not like he had a full class and was just trying to keep them and land a few studs to complete the class. Him and his staff probably had to reset a lot of the recruiting board. He has garnered interest from a lot of top prospects and given them something to think about. I like how he has attacked the QB position so far in recruiting. I think you have to wait till signing day to see how he finishes.

Excited the kid has talent, no doubt. But, Its hard to be excited about another transfer brought into a program with no system or direction.

Its not insecurity. We didnt expect yall to applaud the Littrell hire so dont expect UNT fans to applaud Wilson. Also we diont expect yall to fear or respect Littrell yet so dont expect us to do the same for Wilson. We are rivals, we were going to bash your hire regardless. When UNT fired McCarney the clock started ticking faster for Larry. Congratulate your AD for not letting NT get a whole year head start. We still did get a head start with staff and recruiting. Like I've said before I expect UNT and UTSA to be 2 very different teams next fall. It will be a clash of styles and fun to watch.

Most fan bases get behind their guy regardless of who it is. Im a Browns fan and I was all for Mike Pettine at first. To me Wilson's success will be defined by his OC hire.I have a feeling he will want a pro style guy. I think UTSA and UNT are going to be two very different teams come next year.

Just because it's reported you can spend that much doesn't mean anything. UNT had there next HC $ approved up to 1.2 million, but they didn't use it all. So you still may hire a guy around 600K with hopes of increasing your assistant pay. Im sorry but the list of people interested has been underwhelming to most. Probably due to the fact it was posted so late. 3 of our final 4 were Littrell, Meacham, and Scott Frost. Not sure anyone associated with y'all search carries the attention that those guys do. Spencer may be a good hire for y'all, but it won't move the needle in CUSA or make UNT fans feel threatened. We are feeling pretty good the way out new coach is changing the culture.
