  1. Well our WR group is pretty poor so Rico could see the field early.
  2. Ive been critical of this class, but I wont go that far. I think its kind of an unfair statement until we see the guys on the field. Facts are that at least 1/3 of this class isnt going to work out. IMO I'd say 4 or 5 become good players and about 9 of them will be solid or decent back-ups.
  3. how many times did the QB give them a chance too?
  4. Actually Wilson probably did better. Had less resources and less time.
  5. They are highlight clips, not really films. Your judging guys biased upon the best plays they made not entire games.
  6. Just seems like a guy who will sit in your home on the couch and be genuine with you. He keeps it real no gimmicks or gadgets. A lot of kids enjoy that. Just look at what Charlie Strong did.
  7. Doc Holliday is a great recruiter and has a great program. Its not a surprise they did so well.
  8. 10-12 difference makers is a bit much.
  9. Because the other schools landed better players.
  10. I get the vibe like he hates the media and he doesnt care to answer their questions. He is channeling his inner Bill Belichick
  11. Decent class. I dont think its anything to get overly excited about. We landed some nice pieces and some projects. I wouldnt go dancing around unless we landed a top 3 #CUSA class. I do think Littrell and his staff built some solid DFW relationships for the next recruiting cycle.
  12. I got nothing against DT and what he did here. Im just going to say that you cant blame an INT on the play call. You just cant. Someone on the field made a mistake wrong route, missed block, QB over or under throw, etc. Was it a bad play call? Yes! But DT should've made up for it by making the right decision on the field. Its just that simple.
  13. You dont blame play calling for a pick 6. If it aint there throw in in the ground. Come on man. Thats like the most ridiculous BS statement. Good QBs dont make that mental mistake over and over again.
  14. He is a project guy that probably needs a redshirt year to develop those skills at DB.
  15. I'd imagine we end up ranked 12 behind UTSA & UTEP. Ahead of Rice & Charlotte
  16. I will let you know by Friday morning.
  17. Mostly likely there wont be a scholarship HS QB.
  18. Well it certainly hasnt been the shade of green in the uniforms I'll tell you that right now.
  19. My understanding is that prep school players dont lose any years of eligibility
  20. I dont think we have the 2017 starting QB on this roster or committed yet. I think Littrell is banking on having a full year to recruit and showing players exactly what his offense is capable. He probably feels he can land a solid HS QB in the next class. Also he may try to play the LA Tech route again for next year by landing a graduate transfer.
  21. Decision making and taking care of the ball favor Morris greatly. He will make the right reads quicker than Smith. Fine needs a year or 2 in a college strength program before he ever steps foot on the field.
  22. Nic plays between the tackles because the offense they ran calls for it. Both guys are dangerous in space. Speed and elusiveness. Id say Smith has a bit more elusiveness while Ivery has more straight speed.
  23. No I can not imagine Fine winning the job next year.
  24. I agree with not overselling this class like a lot of people want to do. I disagree with you calling this an undermanned and average class. You dont really know what we have out of this class. I could easily call Tulane's class average. This class will be determined by Morris, the JUCO D prospects, and if they can help turn things around for us quickly. JMO
