  1. Sure, I'll play. Clemson - 42 UNC - 38 Enough for a scare, but everything will be as it should be.
  2. Good voice on that dude...
  3. EDIT 2: Okay, the "Sincerely" banner (below) is too funny to pass up, if people are willing to pay for that. Let him have it. EDIT 1: I fear it could give the impression that fans don't approve of the coaching hire, which is not a good way to start the relationship with our new head coach. We've always been a loyal-to-a-fault fan base, but that is not how the banner would make us appear to the new coach. Also, the first banner got people's attention and made them ask questions. This one wouldn't appear to mean anything to the layperson other than saying that someone can't let a grudge go. It could appear kind of childish, like yelling over someone else trying to talk.
  4. Only difference I see is that they're more like us in that they enjoy talking about what they would do in this situation if they were the HC/AD/HNIC/GOD.
  5. Where I work, we have an entire fridge of just alcohol for events we host. Going through this all day and staying away from that fridge has been the biggest exercise in self-restraint of my life...
  6. What a f*¢<ing quagmire. Okay, I'll never complain about being left out of the loop again. I don't want to get excited about something that isn't going to happen again. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w6gzOcTNKwE
  7. God, so depressing/true...
  8. Is it reasonable to think that, if an announcement is not made today, it is because they are primarily pursuing Litrell and we very well may not get a final answer until after Saturday?
  9. That tackle by Orr was satisfying to watch.
  10. Sorry if this has been mentioned...but at 0:14 of the "highlight" reel...who provides a block for Wilson? It happens kind of fast, but it looks like Harris and, to me, it looks a lot like the hit that he got ejected for. I really don't see any difference in the two hits except one guy got bumped a little and the other guy got obliterated. But form, point of contact, and even the situation seems exactly the same.
  11. Sitting here waiting for the announcement like...
  12. For a team that didn't start consistently having .500+ seasons until Patterson came along, they sure have a strange outlook on how pivotal a good coach can be for a Texas football program... Gotta love that people think he deserves "better," though. Makes me think we got something good coming our way for sure. Also, good on the folks wishing him well. Hopefully some of them will keep following his career if he lands here! *crossing fingers*
  13. After watching NC play last night, 50/50 is exactly what I expected to see. It is exactly what I am.
  14. No need to proceed. Those killed it.
  15. Texas ties. From a school that is all over everyone's radar. Already mentioned as a potential candidate. I'll take Meacham.
  16. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y0Om6bnl8aU "Goes to Ryan's and they say, "S#!t...this one's gonna cost us." God, I love the Zac Brown Band...
  17. I would love to see an analysis of how much these hiring schools are paying their coaches or would be willing to pay the incoming coach. Then, once all the hires are made, we could speculate about how important the money is to candidates. I mean, if we're a coaches's second choice but choice number one offers him considerably less, are the odds in our favor? I might make that a little project once I'm done with classes.
  18. I get excited when I see reporters speculating about how should/could/would come to UNT because it seems reputable coming from professionals. Then they say ISU should consider Coach Mac and I'm like, "Oh, so y'all are talking out of your ass as much as us. Carry on..."
