Just curious...they asked him this specifically, didn't they? And he said, "no, not really." Maybe he was just worked up at that point and didn't want to seem to agree with them on anything?

This is something that should be done in all high schools and colleges. And not just the low budget, check-the-box stuff that some places do. Something that isn't just cause and effect, but actually has an impact.

Again, he should (and will) have to deal with the consequences of his actions. My intent is not to suggest he should get to play. My intent is to take a tiny step to alter a pervasive belief that people who make a mistake like this are bad people and wholly different from ourselves. But if it happened (let us pray it never does, and i'm sure with your good parenting it never will), would you disown them? Would they not be worth society's time because they did? That was my point. Well...there isn't a hell of a lot to talk about right now, huh? I mean...we went 1-11 and haven't even gotten into uniform speculation on the board yet. Haha

Why is six wins so crazy to hope for when so much was broken last season? We didn't bring in many worthwhile recruits last season. At no point did we have a QB that was ready for CUSA-level competition, the team's unity and drive died less than half-day through the season. At about that time, they lost their head coach. There was almost no consistency through the whole season as coaches kept changing things, hoping something would stick. If Littrell can fix just half of those issues, won't we have a radically different team? Of course, we all know its actually too soon to be speculating about this, but it IS fun. When spring game rolls around, we see some of our recruits (potentially some QBs), the new team dynamic, and the new system in action, we'll actually have something to base our beliefs on. It may be folly to be a homer, but until we've seen what they can do, there's no benefit to being a Debbie downer either. I say six wins or bust, and onto Christopher Walkers beloved Bahama Bowl.

Dang, it's not often you see HS film and really get blown away by their speed, but this kid's got it. Maybe he could be UNT's Cole Beasley? EDIT: I see now that you and I had the same thought, there. I elect to leave my question because I agree.
