  1. Looks like C-USA has Frankie, Dana, Bobby and Bloomgren on the list. http://www.coacheshotseat.com
  2. Programs like Texas can essentially start paying players 100's of thousands to play for them. This will disadvantage the smaller ones very much.

Looks like it'll be a absolutely amazing facility for UAB and best in the entire conference. Going to make a major impact on recruiting.
  5. Link: https://www.espn.com/college-football/st...ten-nessee Only 1 C-USA made the list this week which is good. Sadly #7 Rice made the list this week for C-USA. UTEP and the FIU/FAU are on the waiting list though.
  6. Don't sleep on UTEP this year people. Ross is a big time prospect hailing from Riverside Poly. No. 74 overall recruit and the No. 7 cornerback, according to 247. Ross chose USC over offers from Arizona State, Notre Dame, Miami, Oregon, Oklahoma and Washington among others. Beastly talent for sure.

  10. PSAN ANTONIO — UTSA will open the 2020 season with a nonconference game at LSU, officials from both schools announced this week. The Roadrunners will face the Tigers for the first time on Sept. 5, 2020, at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge, La. It will mark the program's third game against a member of the Southeastern Conference, as UTSA will play Texas A&M for the second time this fall. https://goutsa.com/news/2019/8/8/footbal...t-lsu.aspx
  11. Cooper was terminated from the University of Arizona football team for violation of team rules this past week. UTEP felt like he deserved a second chance. Cooper was a 3 star recruit out of California and was Arizona's top returning receiver. He only had 18 receptions last year but he averaged 20.4 yards per catch. He graduated from Arizona so he will be able to play this season. Those teams in the West counting UTEP out better watch out. They have forgiven Locksley and he may be the most physically talented QB in the league if his head is straight. UTEP is a dark horse this season IMHO.
  12. Good news for the conference.
  13. Emmanuel Lubin, a senior DB on the team who had just completed his last year of eligibility.died in a car accident. Please pray for his family and the FIU community. Kid was only 21 years old.
  14. https://www.underdogdynasty.com/2019/7/1...bill-clark North Texas Head Coach, Seth Littrell - Touch The Sky Lyrics: “Baby, I’m goin’ on an aeroplane, And I don’t know if I’ll be back again” Why this line: Seth Littrell was in high demand last season as his resurrection of the North Texas football program turned into overtures from P5 schools. One of those schools was Kansas State. According to reports, Littrell flew to Manhattan, ready to accept a deal to become K-State’s new head coach, only to turn down the deal and fly back to Denton. North Texas and Seth Littrell might be playing this song again in December, as UNT is one of several teams capable of winning C-USA.

  18. Should we accept them as football only?
  19. With UConn likely moving back to the Big East, where could the AAC turn for a replacement? Conference realignment is back! Or, at the very least, a much smaller version of it could be on the verge of happening. On Saturday, CBSSports.com's Matt Norlander was able to confirm reports that UConn plans to leave the American Athletic Conference and return its sports to the Big East. (At least, the sports that the Big East sponsors.) UConn had been a member of the Big East since its inception, but left the conference in 2013 when the previous round of realignment split the conference in half with the smaller, basketball-only schools creating a new Big East, and the larger schools with football programs left for Power Five conferences, or helped form a new league in the American Athletic Conference. UConn chose the AAC, and it seems to regret the decision. The problem for UConn and the AAC is that, as CBSSports.com's Dennis Dodd reported, if the Huskies do return to the Big East, the AAC has no interest in remaining the home of UConn football, which is understandable. https://www.cbssports.com/college-footba...placement/

  20. Several reports have been placed mentioning UConn to the BE.
  21. UConn is on the verge of leaving the American Athletic Conference to return to the Big East ahead of the 2020-21 season, according to CBS Sports' Gary Parrish and Matt Norlander. The Hartford Courant and Digital Sports Desk first reported the move. "I'd be surprised if this ends pretty," a second source told Norlander, noting that the AAC is not going to make this transition easy on the program. "... [The Huskies] never fully embraced the American." View Full Article
  22. This $44 million facilities project is making a big statement and the conference appreciates you doing it.
