You know I do think that perhaps instead of venting our frustration/suggestions on this board, we cold actually become powerful alumni that help move the program forward. One of us can't do much to change RV or Admin's mind, but all of us together are a force for good and progress. I think that perhaps we can and should petition these things to them. As trivial as they may sound, we need to do a better job at making them know that we put money from our livelihood into a product that we believe in. We have to have a sense of pride in that product. From the GPAs in the classroom, to the performance on the field and the package these kids put on (uniform). It's about our pride, our legacy, and our future at North Texas. The only other thing I put this much money into is my church!

Read it this morning. I personally like the green... which is the one thing that this guy seems to hate the most. I guess he overlooked the annoying "North Texas" WordMark that we all personally hate. LOL

I got mine at the ring ceremony the year before I graduated. I started at UNT in 2003 as a transfer and then life got in the way. I always said that I was "honorary" class of 06 (since all my friends graduated around those years) but I finished up in 2011 after being out for about 3 1/2 years. My dad paid for 1/2 so thats how I could get the "deluxe" model. Anyway, this is my pride and joy. I wear it everyday (It's HUGE as others' are.) Its the XL version of our current ring design. I DO get allot of compliments on it as well from co-workers, friends, and colleagues. Even one of my best friends (An A&M grad) is jealous of the sheer size of our rings. Although I am jealous of their ring traditions in general. Enjoy getting your ring, and get smashed at the ceremony if you go. Its all free.
