USM is a neat place to watch a game. Its an older stadium along the line of Fouts with LOTS of new stuff added on.

There should be no such thing as "bad" wins, "moral victories" or any of the sort at North Texas. You take a win and be ecstatic about it.

Saw them for the first time in person Saturday. I was very impressed with the defense. The UAB QB was running for his life most of the game and the UAB running game was nonexistent. Was sitting with DT 90 and he was impressed with the D-line and how well they ran. He was very impressed with the offense. On defense, the long shots down field need to be corrected. He said SMU did the same thing to them.

The rule has been changed this year. They are giving a years notice because of the way uniforms are purchased. The new rule states that the pant legs have to cover the knee and have a knee pad. The officials are looking for this in pregame this year. This guy will be told to pull his pant legs down and if he doesn't then he will not be allowed on the field. Next year, it will actually be a penalty anytime he comes on the playing field during the game.

Needs to pull his pant legs down. It ain't rugby. Next year this is a "no go". The players hated the green pants in 2012 and 13.

Yes, they have people watching in the booth. If they see anything, they can buzz the officials.

UTSA had the upper hand the whole game. UTSA's D smelled blood from the start and played with their hair on fire. Their QB and WRs were much better than Baylor's. Baylor's D is just flat terrible. They have been out athleted/played by LU and UTSA. I can easily see them go O'fer.

Ever heard of BYU?????? This school was also established by an individual based upon his own beliefs that didn't exactly line up with main stream beliefs. They are as about as intolerant as there is. No one seems to have a problem with playing them and their sacred underwear.

Good luck getting a game worn helmet from the equipment manager. They turn those in to either be refurbished or as credit. We bought 90's last helmet ('14 HoD Bowl) for a cool $350. It was the green one he wore all year with the black wrap on it.

Chapman, Boutwell, Fulp ..... China Spring legacy continues. By the way China Spring is not exactly a "small" school. 4 A Div 1. Nearly 800 kids in high school. Bigger than Argyle.

Maybe along the lines of what they have at Louisiana Monroe? They call them tailgate tents which are line up across the end zone. You bring your own drinks and eats. I've seen people even bring small smokers and grills.

They may not have Baylor type speed now but they will very soon. Lil Briles will find them and they will come looking knowing the style of play he known for. And yes, they do run WRs in relays. DBs are dead tired halfway through the game. Another thing is that Lil Briles loves to run the ball too. Remember BU ran for 600 plus yards vs Duke (?) in a bowl game. I have run the down marker at Baylor home games for the past four years. I've watched the opponents HC and DC scream at each other trying to figure out how to slow BU down. Stoops just shook his head. Holgorson had his players intentionally stand on the chains and move out to where the chains are moved after first downs trying to slow us down in getting set. He then cussed us because we went out to the numbers to get around his players. Said Briles was paying us good. Problem with that is that the officials don't wait for us. Other teams go fast too but not like BU did under Briles. Being an Aggie I am no BU fan but Lil Briles and his offense is no joke.

Their offense just got 100 times better.

Lots of Aggies, Bears and Bengal Tigers stay in the parking lots during their games too. Hard to walk away from a nice, cool/warm RV with tons of food and cold/warm drinks and still watch the game of TV. if my memory does not fail me .... there are quiet a few of these walking around the hill already.
