  1. I want Ben Gooding posting more about "class." That way we can see if a hole is ripped in the space-time continuum.
  2. Wilson is gonna be back at Greenville, apparently. Played there last year, then transferred to Bishop Dunne for the spring, but will be back at Greenville this fall.
  3. He committed too early. May still get them, but he would've gotten more offers if he'd waited a while.
  4. Ummm ..... y'all do realize that Jordan Williams and Jordon Williams, whose tweet y'all are arguing about, are two different players, right? This thread started about Jordan Williams, a 2015 LB from Paris, and has turned into an argument about Jordon Williams, a 2015 DB from Jersey Village. The Jersey Village DB got the Arkansas offer. Not the Paris LB.
  5. SMU is on fire lately. Proche is the gem.
  6. Free link from Scout. Rogers is 6-5, 178 now. http://recruiting.scout.com/2/1408677.html
  7. I like this kid's game. He's undersized for a safety, but his instincts and style are definitely safety-like. He's got some Lee in him.
  8. Indeed it is. He has two offers. If he holds the commitment, more power to him. But it won't be easy for Rice.
  9. Deyanta Roberson is a good one. Good inclusion by Perroni.
  10. I'm kinda torn on him. I think he plays with a hand on the ground, whether outside or inside. I see what you mean about him being more slender, angular big-framed kid than the type who could relatively easily put 40-50 pounds on himself to move inside. But at the same time, quality interiors are really hard to find and though he may not fit the body type perfectly, if he can play there and play well at maybe 6-4, 275, I wouldn't have a problem with it.
  11. A 275-pound defensive end in an even front doesn't do you a lot of good if he's too slow and stiff and lacks the explosion to properly play the edge. If you're riding with an even front, you're sacrificing some size for speed. If you want hulking, two-gap linemen, find yourself an odd front scheme.
  12. Yes, he'd probably have to play mike in their 4-3. Solid tackler but he's pretty stiff through the hips and not all that fast.
  13. Based on multiple posts, I'm really glad you're not North Texas' recruiting coordinator.
  14. I take it KRAM shows up wearing knee pads and Rec Specs running suicides just before tipoff.
  15. North Texas offered this guy today.
  16. I like this guy better than Broadnax. Could be a big strongside DE or put 30-40 pounds on him and let him be one-gap 3-tech.
  17. Would be surprised if he was actually 6-2, 210-215 as listed. Good velocity and a quick release. Good wrist action. Needs to bring the ball higher on his release. A little too much of a 3/4 thrower. Takes some big chances against certain coverages.
  18. Watched a few of the short Hudl clips from this past fall. Great frame, but has a good ways to go re: pad level, footwork, etc.
  19. Has good long speed.
  20. I can't believe this is a thread.
  21. Also get to see the quarterback North Texas opted to not offer who signed with UTSA.
  22. Reese has the frame to be a high-major guy. Absolutely must get more physical. Santos is the opposite. On the short side, but as physical as they come. Similar to his older brother, he's pure violence on the field.
  23. He's a grayshirt. As such, the school won't include him as an official 2014 signee.
  24. Hate to break it to you, but realignment doesn't have anything to do with basketball, as much as the UIL won't admit that.
