La Tech and A&M just postponed their game to Oct 13th when both teams have a bye. La Tech is 200 miles north of Baton Rogue so I wonder if we'll be hearing any news of our game.

I can promise you the pit crew (at least the front row where I will be) will be louder than in years past. Book it.

To comment on the students not being able to use their IDs to get in to the football games, it is such a huge waste. You know what happens when you get to the little table in the union to get your ticket? That's right, they swipe your ID! I knew plenty of people last year, myself included, that never go over to that side of campus because their classes aren't over there. If your going to make it difficult for the, already lazy, college student to get in its going to hinder attendance. I made sure I got my ticket every week but I know there were some who missed out because they never made it over to get one./Rant Back on topic, all of those ideas Harry said sound great, but if you give out free stuff students will come. Give out a shirt before the game and then one after the game. Students love free shirts, cups, anything Mean Green!

I'm not concerned about being ranked. First and foremost we need to win the Sun Belt, get to the NCAA tourney, and win the first game. If we get ranked along the way, awesome, but if its not 1st at the end of the season I don't care.

I work at Texas Motor Speedway and this is exactly the mind set when you do give away a lot of tickets. I have actually talked on the phone to people who complain "Y'all used to give away tickets, now you want me to buy them?!" Just because you give someone something for free doesn't mean they'll be grateful or want to to pay for it later.

Since I used to work in housing I know the basketball players don't live in Victory, they live in Mozart right down the street from the Super Pit. They will have to take a bus if it is built in the MGV.

You gotta remember most of the games T-Mitch was on the bench in foul trouble Alzee was the one carrying this team. Alzee will get plenty of PT.

A good friend of mine works at Mozart and talks to Tony pretty frequently. The other day he saw Tony in the dorm and said he liked his shirt. Tony took the shirt off his back and gave it to him. My friend sent me a picture of the shirt and it was a Nike A'Mare Skills Academy Shirt. The kid has a good heart.

From everything I'm reading on his twitter the dude is coming here. Not sure how we're gonna fit him but he's coming.

First year of high school I played basketball and was put on the freshman B team. The first game I scored 20 points so they moved me up to A team. I never saw the court except for the last few seconds at the end of either half. I asked the coach to move me back down and he said no. That was the worst season of basketball in my short career. From personal experience the kids just want to play its not about being at a huge school. Bias aside I would rather be a star at NT than last off the bench at Kentucky.

Tristian left the Toros. I talked to him about it on twitter and he said he wanted to take a year or so off. This was last fall.

Should have got some jerseys from the garage sale the athletic department had. Although if you're not located close to Denton I can see where that would be an issue.
