Where are the little dribblers and the jump ropers?

Been going for decades and decades and decades and I rarely jump up screaming. It’s still my favorite things to do all year. I enjoy sitting watching and figuring out what’s next, what’s the plan, what’s the coach thinking. I stand for the anthem and then maybe stand the last minute or two of it is close. (Typically)

How many local Denton area kids are on the team? How many UNT grads are coaches in our district? Middle or high-school? That is where you start….

Wow. Refs have been pretty good this game but he completely shoved Scott to the ground and they called that on Scott. That’s unbelievable.complete extension of the arm into Scott. Unbelievable!

I believe Gibson and Smart (maybe) hav had 7 3 pointers in a game. That’s more recent. After that idk. Let Edwards hit one more and we can call him the all time leader haha. 24 points off threes in college is crazy.

Yes. It helps to have Walker. We have him we don’t lose to Boise State or Fordham. (These two games really bug me because they could easily keep us from an at large)Even if he isn’t scoring he adds length and defense. He also seems to take care of the ball pretty well. Does things we need.

Yes. Shorter than guys like stone and Nolan’s but I think his wingspan is longer. Really helps with his dribbling if he can keep it under control. not comparing him to Iverson at all but that’s what allowed Iverson to be great. The wingspan with his cross over was nasty. Edwards doesn’t have that length.

I’m not sure a 7 man rotation has ever been considered deep…. 🧐

If he can learn to slow it done sometimes and keep control of the ball he could follow Perry’s path. Except he stays his remaking 3 years here. A buddy compared him to Hardy on the Mavs. Lots of potential and extremely quick and athletic (granted 3 inches shorter). He has found some consistency which is nice. Truly taking advantage of some guys out.

I just miss when we entered to fly like an eagle by Seal. 😞

For a team with 7 rotation players I would assume it’s our pace…. Helps stay out of foul trouble and maintain stamina for late in game. Not pressing a lot on defense to give them some every buckets but taking out time on the other end to catch a break. At least for now.

I’m assuming a slow offense due to lack of depth. We shall see.

If we ever rebuild it needs to be across the street with a bridge that goes over the road between the two. Hold tournaments and house a parking garage next to it. Would love to see a restaurant there by the dorms again people would go to after games like the old fouts field.

Imagine where we would be if Jones is hurt, Buggs doesn’t play, and Walker didn’t get the “permission” to play…. Maybe it’s time to get a few more guys some reps…. Just to be safe….

I have to assume he will sit out tomorrow and then try to play against Temple. Maybe just a sore hamstring. Nothing torn or pulled to bad we hope. We will need Buggs back tomorrow.

Because we play defense… apparently some refs just don’t like that. Even when we stand straight with arms up. A couple missed calls go against us and 4-5 no fouls called on us…. Still managing to hang in there though.

They have 6 players tagged with less fouls than our next closest player with the least fouls. We only now have 7 avoidable players. These refs really wana give this one over to the fans… 6 players with 1 or 0 fouls while our guys are all tagged with 2-3 plus fouls….. ugh

Hopefully it’s just the game. Hamstrings can end a season quick 😕
