Defense is getting better. Special teams are still a work in progress, offensive leaders, Fine and Wilson, are really banged up, and we are one win away from winning the west! I believe this coaching staff has done a good job with a team that was picked to finish toward the bottom of the conference. We are going bowling again and have a lot of potential to get even better. Southern Mississippi still has to play Marshall so 6-2 could still win the west for us if we lose at La Tech who also has Marshall. After today, no game will look like an easy win!

To many people wanted to drink the green coolaide! This is still going to be a bowl team and exceed expectations. I'm disappointed and embrassed with the effort and result today but looking forward to seeing how this group responds next week. Still a lot of football left to be played.

The long completion to Lawrence was right in front of us and he got in a great two hand shove but no official makes that call with 30 seconds left in the game. Great no call! Poor Utsa fans looked like they got kicked in the groin!

I'd let in all youth football teams and coaches in the area as well as any Denton ISD student and let them sit in the upper wing section for free. I know it's a Saturday night but most games are already finished. It's worth a shot! To bad we can't Denton ISD day like we do in basketball and get all those screaming kids at the game but as a teacher, I know I wouldn't sign up to chaperone them on my day off!!!

Just announce that there is an anti-Trump rally at Apogee at 6pm next Saturday and we'll get a great student turn out! lol

Wish him the best but his injury is one that may never allow him to return to the player he was his first two seasons. He didn't have the same explosion and quickness He was never going to be good free throw shooter. Hope he can regain that athletic ability and have a good season in the right program but doubt it will be at a high D 1 program. Degree in 3 years is pretty impressive. He will be just fine. True student athlete.
