Nothing against a great Troy team last year, but this is probably the best team we have faced in a bowl game since the 1950' s. Definitely the highest ranked since then.

I think we have looked tired the past three games and our shooting percentage has shown it. We have played more games than anyone else in the country and throw in the travel to Hawaii. I think this week off and the week for finals will help them get their legs back under them. We haven't missed that many layups and put backs in a game in the past two years combined. We played hard and fought our tails off on the boards. We will be fine.

They just finished renovating it and adding the soccer hall of fame. The seating is supposed to be up to 30K.

Littrell said after the game that he thought RICO would be ready to go for the bowl game. They are evaluating it again today.

Need better o-line play. No running back would have gotten that first down. Terrible run blocking and worse play call.

You don't like Houston, Nutsak and possible defending conference champ UAB all at apogee? Those will all be big crowds with decent weather. Make Charlotte homecoming, ACU the home opener and you should have 5 crowds of 26-28 k. UTEP should be better and they usually travel well here. That's not a horrible home schedule.

Hope the Abilene Christian game is the home opener. That is usually a big crowd regardless of the opponent. The away game vs. SMUT will be tough with the way they have improved.

Any bowl game against a ranked opponent would draw a great UNT crowd.

What is our home schedule looking like for next year? Fine's senior year and just about everyone back on offense. Could break the attendance record again...weather permitting!

Saw that Jeremy Combs has been able to play basketball again. This time for Johnny Jones at Texas Southern. He's starting and seems healthy again. Great place for him with JJ. They are playing a killer non conference schedule so Combs will get to play against quality opponents. Wish him and JJ all the best. Hope we can get them on the schedule next year. JJ will build a strong program.

Anyone heard any update on Tope Arikawe's injury from Sunday night? Looked bad. I know Smart is out of the boot and shooting so hopefully he is getting close but no need to rush him. Also haven't heard about the freshman Wise or transfer Alcinder and when they may be back. Could use some bulk and rebounding down low. Go Mean Green!

Denton ISD kids would do a better job filming that game. Worst I've ever seen. Someone at ESPN should have to answer for such horrible coverage.

As far as fan expectations, Seth has said on BTG how this team is special. I bought in to that so this loss is really hard to swallow. It's a good team but "special" teams win these games. Hope we can regroup in a hurry for FAU next Thursday. I'll be really shocked if we don't come out and play great next week after the two butt kicking they gave us last year. This team plays better as an underdog.
