Green Crazy, I did not go, but a friend of mine from Kennendale took his boy and said there were whispers....tease. Lot of what I see has us going to the Conf USA alliance. Two things that really bother me about college football right now: 1 - all the coaching changes (20% of D1 coaches changed schools this past year) 2 - conf realignments never stop...will never stop till there is a playoff system

Arlington Martin was well represented. My son, Connor / OL, signed 2/1 and he took 3 jrs from this past years team including an OL, LB and DB. Connor said it was a great event and you would never know Coach Mac had a stroke a few weeks ago. There is a new sheriff in town and he ain't wearing purple or blue. Next we need to pack Apogee for the spring game 4/21.

I know there is alot of excitement around UNT right now. My son signed a month ago. He expects 9 - 10 wins. He took several of his jr class mates from Martin to the jr day this past Saturday. Said there was standing room only in the terrace club at Apogee.

Last night at the last hour, SMU called Connor Trussell, my son with an offer. For an hour or so he weighed the pros and cons. One thing that he kept coming back to was the "feel" that he got while on his official this past weekend. Several people including his head coach, Bob Wager, a teammate / friend and captain from last years team, Russell Bellomy who is now playing at Michigan, along with his mom and I told him that he had to go where he felt he would be happiest for the next 4-5 years. When asked that question, it was a resounding UNT answer. I send this not to talk about what Connor did, but what Coach Mac has done to change the attitude and direction of UNT. a very proud dad

looking forward to coming to the games this season. my son is the new OL, Connor Trussell, from Arlington Martin. We had a great visit this weekend touring the school, athletic village and meeting some of the players and coaches. Coach Mac has it going on...BOWL BOUND.
