Make history? It sounds like a cheesy High School yearbook slogan. I hope our coaches don't call the dogs off of them this year at the Sun Bowl. I want zero traffic when I head to the Brew on the Westside to laugh at my friends after the game. They all had excuses why they couldn't watch the beat down in Denton last year.

Not saying you said we are too big for our britches but that seems to be the undertone of much of our fan base since January. We've had one good season in like a decade and competed in CUSA for a year, which we didn't win the conference and people are talking like we need to shop conferences again. Our goal should be to win CUSA. Win and maybe we will go to a better fit for the program in the future. I believe we should try and go to a better conference once we can actually compete with the big boys. One good year didn't prove anything. If we suck next season it will be a disaster. There is a real chance we start 0-2 as well but that's another discussion. I'm just not sold that this program has been turned around. This team has broken my heart far to many times. All that being said, I truly believe there is zero reason why a university the size of UNT shouldn't be competing with the big programs in every sport. If that means our goal is a P5 conference then I hope I live to see it.

Fresno State? Seriously? People in the Metroplex aren't going to line up for Nevada, New Mexico, San Diego State, UNLV, ect. I think we would compete just fine and proved that on January 1st. If any CUSA is headed to the MWC it's UTEP. Anyway you slice it, non P5 conferences will always be on the outside looking in. MWC was talking a merger of sorts with CUSA like 5 minutes ago. It's not some massive step up. Heck, if we were, and we aren't conference shopping, the AAC would be better for us in my opinion. Not that it's even and option. At the end of the day, in the current landscape there is nothing wrong with CUSA for us. We should, I don't know, maybe win a conference championship before everyone thinks our britches are all big?

The Big West wasn't good for us. Going west isn't a good fit for us either. Playing teams that our fans give a crap about is better for the program. Playing teams in our region is good. For instant playing Rice is far far more interesting than San Diego State which almost no one would care about in Denton nor San Diego. The same would hold true for much of the MWC. Plus our fans aren't going to travel out west.

The problem with your theory is we too will have a new Quarterback.

Last year half the people I spoke to said we didn't have a QB going into the season. I didn't think very highly of his performance the year before either. This is probably why I'm partial to Greer because he has more experience even if it was JUCO.

It's hard to remain healthy when your team is inferior to the teams they play. We here know that lesson all to well.

The bottom line is those two dudes hammed it up for the camera. If AJ McCarron and his ridiculously hot fiance behaved like they did, I'd say they were classless. If I said anything about these guys being classless then people would call me a bigot. I hope he enjoys his 15 minutes because he still has to make the team in a very competitive league. When they cut him, at some point in his career, some of y'all will say he was cut for being gay. Not because he was old or lacked talent.

1. UNT could afford something like 2k per player. I believe for the time they put in, the fact they are not allowed to work, giving them some monthly spending cash to go out on a date or a movie on top of their scholarship isn't asking a lot. 2. The girl's sports are discriminated against already. Each player, at every school, in every sport, should be given equal scholarships. It's the right thing to do.

I was just told the Athletic Department wants members of the 1994 Football team to come to the September 20th game. They want everyone to get together at the Letterman's tailgate and I guess they are going to announce the team during the game or something like that. So, if y'all know anyone on that team, please let them know. Thanks!
